Those of you who are old like me – do you remember using a lighter on your pencil eyeliner to get it all gooey so it went on darker?
Sorry, I’m working on day three of a fever and the shakes and my eyes hurt. All I’ve got for you are high school memories.

yes! That was me. LOL! We used to carry a lighter in our jeans pocket along with the eyelinder. Snort. And there were times, in history class in 8th grade, when we put eyeliner on each other like that. LMAO! fond memories…

I was right there– course, my black was to make my “marilyn monroe black line” over my eyelid as black as possible.
And I don’t know what’s more frightening, the fact that I’d do the lighter thing and then powder with black eye shadow to “seal” it, or the fact that on the new Progressive.com commercials, the gal has the same black line i used to do…
Makes me feel old to see trends come back around that I remember doing…
