I love the Cascadia series, Lauren! I’ve read three of the books so far and had so much fun with them. I love the humor. This is one of my all-time fave series.

I don’t mind reading series, because, sometimes you just have to have more. 🙂

Yeah, I do like series, for the most part. It’s really nice to be able to follow characters through several stories. Occasionally, though, it is nice to read a good book that’s a stand-alone.

I like series, following a cast of characters, and those with a plot that carries through the series.

I like the series. I started the series with Wolf Unbound because I liked the dynamics between the heroine and her hero. The heroine stood her ground with her convictions and helped her alpha male to develop a healthier relationship expectations.

I enjoy reading both closed ended and open series. My preference is a closed ended series because when its done its done the characters journey is complete. Open ended series are great as well, because it provides an opportunity to glimpse or see what is happening to the characters at a later point in time (This true for series that feature one main hero/ heroine or series with various heros/heroines).

My one pet peeve regarding open ended series occurs when the same questions or problems from the beginning of the series remains unresolved by the seventh book. At least with sitcoms there is some type of resolution by the end of the season or at minimum, very quickly at the beginning of the next season.

I live for series, and this is one I would love to win!! There is something about the continuity of the storyline, and keeping up with the characters that I like. If the author is good at his/her craft, and I try to find ones that are, characters will make an appearance in future books allowing us to catch up on their lives. Wonderful…

    YES

    Why?

A well crafted series incorporates introductions to new characters.

A good Author has you falling for those ‘soon’ to be ‘main’ characters before their book has even been done.

I love series. Or most series, anyway. What I love most about them is that I get to see the main characters from each book in supporting roles in the other books. It’s the fact that I get to see more of each character that really makes me enjoy series. I like getting to see more of them and getting to know them better.

I absolutely LOVE series! I love being able to visit previous characters and see how their lives are going. It just seems to make a story that much more for me.

Lauren, don’t enter me, I loved this series and have them all in ebooks! Gosh I love series! I do like them to have a set amount of books so I know how many will be in series etc. There’s some books with series now and there’s book number 26 out and its hard to jump in and be able to go back with the books!

Even if I’m too late, I’m chiming in anyway!

I love series, for the most part, provided authors can keep them fresh. JD Robb does, and she simply amazes me. Sure, there can be dud books here or there, but her characters are so wonderful, I love keeping up with them. Your Chases and Charvezes are the same, actually. 😉
