Don’t enter me for this draw-have them all 🙂
I love series! I’m always happy to read about characters I feel I “know” and watch get their HEA.

I do love a series. So much room for character and world building, but with a new set of lead characters. Also, it’s better than reading them in an epic – big books get heavy… !

I do love a series, cause it’s a great way to see past characters that I love and find out what they are up to and find new characters that I can love just as much. I would love to have this series, I love shapeshifter books. and I have read a couple of other books of yours that are about shapeshiters and I love them.

I have not read this series yet. 😮 I’ve read alot of your books (my faves are the “Chase” books) 😀

I am a series junkie! There is nothing better than a good series where you can catch up with previous characters and see how other characters develop. I love it when all the ends get wrapped up, that is ABSOLUTELY my favourite! Sometimes the waiting for the next book drives me CRAZY though!

I love series. I guess it’s familiarity with characters, world (I like paranormal where world building is quite important) and general story devolopment.

I love reading a good series. It’s nice to pick up a new book and find yourself already familiar with the world and characters. That being said, I do prefer books that stand alone in a series- because sometimes I’ll read them out of order accidentally 😆

I have all these, Lauren, so don’t enter me. And they’re all awesome!!
I LOVE series, and have found that more and more I read them, and if a book is not in a series, I’m rallying for it become one, lol. I love the connection between the characters, to revisit hero/heroines I’ve met in other books and see what they’re up to, I love to see secondary characters get their own books, and I just love to dive into the next chapter of lives I’ve become familiar with.

I do love a series…so long as I can always find them all. Sometimes it is hard to find some of the older books, and then I am trying to fill in the pieces on my own. I love to see how the characters have evolved with whatever is happening to them now.
Thanks-
Amy M

Series give me the opportunity to check in on characters I met in previous books. I have so many going now I lose track sometimes, but I do love them all. Nalini Singh’s Psy/Chagelings and Lora Leigh’s Breeds are a couple of my favorites.

Do you like series? Why or why not?
I love series. A lot of times when I read a book I am more interested in the secondary characters the author creates. So yeah I like series when the author expands on those secondary characters.
July 19th, 2009 at 7:40 am · Link
I enjoy a good series. I enjoy meeting characters again in subsequent books, seeing interesting secondary characters get their story.
Or in the case of a family saga, seeing each sibling get their man/woman.
I also like it when the plot continues until the last book. Stand alone stories are fine too…but the anticipation for the next in the series is high when the plot continues.
And this is an awesome prize!!!
Fingers crossed!!!

As usual, I have a mixed answer. Yes, and no, for if I like series. I used to love connected books. But those were ones that could stand alone. I HATE not having an ending/closure. But more importantly, there are a few never ending series. That’s… more sad than anything really, it seems like the author/publisher is just taking the loyal fans for a ride to get their money. Story lines repeat, ludicrous events happen, we’re reading about someone’s step brother’s lost uncle’s fifth cousin’s once removed’s best friend’s schoolmate as the hero. Sometimes, it’s best to stop.
Otherwise, I love series – it’s nice to have a cozy little world with familiar faces, a bit like seeing old friends. Balance is key.

I absolutely love series, especially when characters from previous books make appearances as secondary players or even through small cameos. The only problem with series is waiting for the next book to come out!!!
July 19th, 2009 at 7:56 am · Link
I like. It’s nice seeing your favorite side characters getting their own story, for example, and gradually getting to know more about the world that the author has built. I also like story arcs that span through a series, something to tie the books together.
Although it can be frustrating to wait for the next book in a series – or the last book if a series seems neverending.

Don’t enter me – I have the series! I like series, although I do quit reading some, such as Anita Blake, when the series takes a sharp turn that doesn’t seem for the better. Some series that seem to be staying true to themselves include the Dresden Files, Dirk & Steele, Psy-Changelings, and Immortals After Dark.

I LOVE series!! I almost always end up falling in love with a secondary character in books and with series you get to meet these characters

I absolutely do love a good series and have tons that I follow. A common theme, recurring characters, fascinating worlds, and a great love story is what keeps me coming back for more.

I LOVE SERIES. There is nothing worse than being drawn into a world that you have come to know and love and not have it continue is some way in another book. Even if they are just loosely connected. When you find a book that you love, you never want it to end, and a series allows it to continue to be fresh and new, yet familiar. LOVE THEM!

I like reading series books. There are always characters in the first book I want to know more about and it makes me happy when they get their own book. This is a great prize and thanks for the chance to win!

I love a good book series. I enjoy catching up on the previous characters and how their HEA extends, and acquainting with the secondary characters and how they, too, meet their HEA. But a good series should have a limit — I hate when an author reuses storylines just to extend the series.

I love series books as long as I don’t have to wait long in between books. Otherwise, I try to wait til the whole series is wrote and buy them all at once. Have a great day.

I do like series, especially when they release bing, bang, bong. (Yep, I can make anything sound a little dirty.)
But don’t enter me, I already have them all!

Hi Lauren, Firstly I must admit I don’t know what a digital book is? Is it just a download PDF file? Thats what I normally get when I order online but I dont really know what the official word is. lol
I have not read this series. However I love your writing and I’m a series junkie so I am 100% confident that I would love them. 😉

I love series. I love how you learn about all sorts of characters that you meet in others’ stories and how you learn that world and the rules of it and can just immerse yourself in it. I love to see characters from previous books and see how they are doing.
But I have gotten into the bog of too many series and sometimes it is hard to keep all the worlds and rules straight sometimes.

I love some series’ because of catching up on characters I have fallen for. Other just bore me because they try and stretch the story too far. Gues sit depends on what the series is about and who wrote it 😀

I like series when it goes up to maybe 4 or 5 books but I hate when the authors keeps on going and going until the series has over 10 books then I just don’t feel like reading that series anymore.

I love series. I love to be able to follow charactes after their book is done or meet the character before the main focus is on them. Series are my favorite because you get to meet new people but you also get to catch up on your old friends too.

I love reading series! I feel a greater connection to the characters by seeing more and more of them throughout each book. I enjoy seeing what happens after the HEA.

I love series because it means different chracters get to have their own story and as readers it’s great to read more about specific chracters while also finding out what happens to others who already had their story told.

I’ll be honest, I haven’t read this series. However, they look interesting and I wouldn’t mind going out and buy them to check it out. Wolf Unbound looks real interesting.

I LOVE a good series–I love revisiting characters and places I’ve enjoyed getting to know already, and it’s great to get little updates on those people after their HEA or enroute to their HEA or … Anyway, I’d love this series–I’ve enjoyed your others, but don’t have this one yet!

Yes, I do like reading a series because you can keep revisiting and getting lost in the characters and worlds that you really enjoy. I’ve read the first three in your Triad series (still need to read the fourth) and hope that series will be continued (hint, hint, nugde, nudge). I’d love to try the Cascadia wolves.

But the books need to be able to stand on their own as well.. if that makes sense?
And I think you do not need to enter me in this contest, darn it, as I already have all those e-books.
