More contesty goodness that is – since Ann Aguirre’s Blue Diablo releases all official like and stuff, April 7 (Tuesday) and because I love Ann’s writing AND because Ann is one of my besties – I thought it would be fun to give away some copies.

So, here’s what I’m gonna do – I’m going to give away four copies of Blue Diablo between now and 9 pm (Pacific) tomorrow night- Monday, April 6. They’ll ship directly from amazon so you should receive them this coming week. I’ll do a few rounds just to keep it fun and to increase your chances of winning since I’ll run it through the randomizer four times instead of just one.

What’s your favorite genre of late? Is it the same one you’ve had for a long while or is it a new one? Winners will be chosen at random from the comments. Good Luck!!! Once I’ve announced your name below, email me with your mailing address so I can get the book ordered.

FIRST WINNER!!: Comment #2 – Greta!
SECOND WINNER!!!: Comment #16: Teresa W

THIRD WINNER: Comment #22 – Natasha
FOURTH WINNER: COMMENT #26 – Lori Ann!

I would love to win a copy of Ann’s book. Blue Diable looks amazing. My favorite genre is still romance but it has switched from romantic suspense to paranormal. I am starting to read a bit more Urban Fantasy with romantic elements.

I’ve heard such great things about Blue Diablo that I’m really looking forward to reading it!

My favorite genre’s been tied between urban fantasy and paranormal romance for the past several years. I do wander into romantic suspense fairly regularly…

    Yummy giveaway!

I’ve been on a category kick lately. Mostly Presents, Blaze, and Desire. I cut out candy and sweets about 6 weeks ago, and these seem to have taken their place – short, but mostly satisfying bites I can gobble down in an hour or 90 minutes, that leave me wanting more

A big fan of historicals and paranormals equally, and I find myself liking urban fantasy more and more with the darker, edgier story lines.

I’ve been reading a loot of paranormal books of late, so I guess you could say that’s my favorite genre right now.

I read a bit of everything but when looking at the tbr pile I notice I have an awful lot of paranormal. I think I need to be cloned to get everything read that I want to.

I realised sometime last year that I am all for futuristic/dystopian. And since most of what I’ve read in that genre is YA, futuristic YA is clearly my thing πŸ˜€

I hop around a lot, but I’m currently in a historicals phase. I think I’m due to read some westerns and some paranormals soon, so I’m trying to decide what part of the TBR to pick off of next πŸ™‚

Wow, doesn’t this book just look fantastic. AND it’s gotten such great reviews from almost everyone, which is pretty rare.

I’ve kind of been drawn to urban fantasy, paranormal, and I’m really enjoying books from Ellora’s Cave. Their a little different but some of the authors are fantastic. Although, right now I’m reading the new Mary Balogh book and this weekend I read a hot contemporary. πŸ™‚ I guess a little of everything is awesome huh?

Romantic suspense is my favorite right now. It’s been my favorite genre for over a year now. I was reading a lot of historicals before that.

Hi Lauren! I’ve been on a historical spree lately! I think I read like 3 ebooks in a row and before that two prints all in historical. Usually I don’t do that! I usually rotate what I read. But I feel a contemp coming on. LOL

I LURVE Urban Fantasy. There’s just something about paranormal creatures living & loving in the big city that get my blood pumping every time, no matter how old the tropes involved may be…

I’ve been on a contemporary/suspense/paranormal spree lately, jumping back and forth between the three (though some books have had all three).

    Contemporary romance I suppose…. and a whack of paranormal….
It’s so hard because I don’t really define the books I read by genre. I just read what I like….

I’m new to most of the paranormal genres (with the exception of time travel) but I’m loving the fallen angel/demon plots.

And I’m reading one of my first BSDM novels that I’m just loving!

Really don’t have a set favorite. I will read anything except maybe horror. I bounce btw. contemporaries, paranormals, historicals, urban fantasy to murder mystery to whatever I happened upon that sounds good.

My favorite genre has taken a turn toward m/m romance, and m/m/f if it’s believable … though I am liking my m/m a little paranormal (hello, JL Langley!) I like my m/m/f full of tasty alpha males

Urban fantasy is my favorite genre, but it wasn’t as easy to find “back in the day,” so I’m thrilled it has caught on in popularity so much in recent years.

I’m a fantasy/sci-fi fan from way back, though. I also love paranormal romance.

I’ve been enjoying paranormal romances for a while and they still tend to be my favorites. Even though I read a ton of other genres, I tend to reach for stories with suspense the most and paranormals tend to fit that bill nicely.

Sweetness! I still have time if it’s PST. Awesome. πŸ™‚

WhatÒ€ℒs your favorite genre of late?
Urban Fantasy and Paranormal Romance. Although at the moment I’m in the mood for light and fluffy romance rather than the dark and twisty UF.

Is it the same one youÒ€ℒve had for a long while or is it a new one?
I’ve been reading this genre since about 2005 when I picked up Guilty Pleasures by LKH at Union Station in DC. I needed something to read on the train and I was hooked. I ended up with the whole published series by the time the trial I was on had ended.

I like fantasy and paranormal. But the last two I read were contemporary. Today it’s back to fantasy. Sci fi is always good, likewise historical and western.

I’ve always read anything, but everything is so much better with romance. Oh, and hot, sexy heroes.
