Taking a break from edits to pop in and say hello!

Several things:

1. I got my author copies of Making Chase! They’re so pretty!

2. If you say something contraversial on your blog, you should be ready to deal with the consequences or not say it at all. This applies to several things I’ve seen lately.

  • a. Do NOT post reader emails in public
  • b. I’m beyond sick of reading romance bashing at certain author blogs. Why it’s necessary, especially when romance readers and their cross genre buying are a huge part of the success of many of these authors, is beyond me. It’s douchy and petty and I am tired of it. Don’t bother giving me your fake-assed smile at the next conference you and I are at, okay? Because I think you are an asshat. Not because you don’t like romance and I’m a writer, but becuase you’re bashing the very readers who are a huge part of your success. It’s bad form and you’re an idiot.

    4. I’m going to have a tequila sunrise after I’m done working tonight. And another when I watch BSG with my dude.

    5. I read Jordan Dane’s No One Can Hear You Scream on my way to the Lori Foster event and it was awesome and gruesome too! Wheee!

    6. I’m now reading a Resident Evil book – I love zombies so much

    7. Nearly done with my edits of Fated

      I picked up Jordan’s book at RT. Can’t wait to read it, but like everything else, it’s gotta wait its turn. *sigh*

      No Jordan Dane on my TBR list, but I do have a couple Lauren Dane books on the list that came home from RT with me.
      No tequila sunrises, it’s been so hot here I’ve been living on rootbeer floats and slurpees. 🙄

      Dude! What did you think of the BSG episdoe? FRAK ME, I was on the edge of my seat the whole time and nearly peed my pants, especially with that scene with Tigh and Adama. HOLY FRAK!
