Last night I finished my edits for Sudden Desire and found myself free for a few moments to choose a project from my “hurry up and write me” file. I opened the file for Taking Chase, the follow up to Giving Chase but then I wanted to write something down about the Vegas story I’ve been chewing on since I returned two weeks ago.
And I started writing and I’ve actually, gasp, outlined the damn book. This story is eating me alive. I am her bitch and loving it. I wrote the opening scene and it made me so happy and giddy with energy that I couldn’t sleep for a while after I’d shut everything down. So I guess I’ll be writing it, LOL. I’ll talk about it more as I write. Right now, I don’t want to jinx it.

Isn’t it great when it comes easy? Those 5000 word days, that you keep your fingers crossed won’t turn into only 100 word days for a while. On those days I’m happy getting just one, really good, memorable line or some little emotion.

Yes. Because of the way I write, it ebbs and flows. Right now it’s going really well as I begin to draw the outines of the world I’m building. I love this part!

Pam, I have no choice, my muse is bossier than I am!
Hi Diana! Sure, share the sparkles, whips and occasional chocolates my muse sends my way!
And Denise, how flattered am I? Giving Chase is my first romantic suspense and I did love writing it.
