Impatient woman that I am, I ordered a copy of Triad from the Ebay store because I had no idea when my author copies would arrive and I really wanted one (I still don’t have them so this is really cool).
It came today and when I ripped open the envelope and it fell into my hands I was totally overwhelmed. It’s amazing to have a book release, be it ebook or print book. I’m still so proud every time I see my books up at EC or LI.
But holding it in my hands, looking at the absolutely gorgeous cover, feeling the weight of my words, seeing the world I wrote there on the page before me? Wow.
My husband brought me home a dozen long stemmed red roses to congratulate me. I’m looking at the spine of the book at it sits on the shelf and it still doesn’t feel real. I’m going to have him snap a picture of me (edit, look up) with it so you can all see what a complete and utter goofball I am over this whole thing.
Yeah. Wow.

You’re not a goofball. It’s a wonderful achievement and you should celebrate it loudly and proudly!

It’s so prettty! Allrighty then, are you ready to do a signing together? : D
Funny but true, my first print book came out the day before I went into labor. It was WEEKS before I got my hands on the Real Thing. – Charli http://www.charleneteglia.com

Congratulations Lauren! How exciting for all of us. You have deserved all of your success because you work hard. I wish you many more ebooks and print books published and as soon as I can get myself a print copy of Triad – I will be a proud owner as well.
Woohoo! What a great moment!
