Ask em if you’ve got em!

Glittergirl asks: How was your Seattle visit?

The ALA Midwinter conference was fantastic! Luckily I’m local so it wasn’t a big drive at all and the weather had warmed up from our freezing temps of the week before. Had a great panel about Families in Romance Series with Courtney Milan, Julia Quinn, Kaki Warner, me, Chistina Dodd and Susan Mallery – so lots of smart, talented folks talking romance. Well attended and fabulously moderated by RWA’s Stephani Fry. Then a fun signing, lunch with Barb Ferrer with lots of fun chit chat, writer talk and gossip. I went to their YA panel (Serena Robar, Barb Caridad Ferrer and Heather Davis) before I headed to the Penguin booth to sign Tart. The folks at the Penguin booth were wonderful! So it was fun and busy and I got to see and meet great folks.

Brandy asks: Are there going to be more De La Vega cat stories? Yes! Look for one next year. I’ve got some other stuff to finish up first but in late May I’ll be working on proposals for a new Petal book and a new de La Vega book 🙂

How was your Seattle visit? I wanted to come but 280 miles north is too far for a quick trip, lol.

Awesome, I’m glad you had a great time! Seattle is a great town with so much to see and do. An yah the Pacific Northwest has been real cold (for us) the last 2 weeks! It’s been nice to get the more temperate temperatures back and the rain, lol. You had great company at the Conference. I’ve got several of those authors on my “Must Get Their New Releases” List 🙂

P.S. I got my copy of HEART OF DARKNESS in the mail yesterday. THANK YOU!
