The Delicious series is about a group of friends we meet in NEVER ENOUGH. Each one of these women is artistic in her own way – Gillian is a pianist, Daisy is a dancer and an artist, Mary is an amazing cook and Jules bakes. These women are close friends and it’s so much fun to write women who love and appreciate each other. Anyway, the snippet below is from SWAY, which is book one and Daisy’s story. It’ll be in the CHERISHED duology I’m in with the fantabulous Maya Banks – out in August!

It had been Daisy who gave the name Delicious not only to the weekly gatherings but also to her group of friends, the sexiest, funniest, most awesome women she knew. Women who were always there for each other. Whether it was to kick someone’s ass to make them straighten up, or to defend and protect. They were part of her family. They were delicious in every way and it pleased her that it had stuck.

I love series that are not only about the hero/heroine, but about the bond of friendship and family.

Loved the snippet, thanks for sharing. Love the Chase Brothers & Petal series. Hope to see more books from that series. There are a few brothers & sisters that you could do stories for the Petal series. I also liked Second Chance & Believe. Bought for my nook and absolutely loved them. More books from that series would be great also.
Do you prefer to write the stand-alone or the series? I prefer to read the series, but like both.
