Ask em if you’ve got em!
Some of the questions I’ve received of late:
When will FATED be out in print? Fated is a novella – books have to be a certain number of words long to fit into a print format. So Fated is too short to go to print alone. This means I need to wait until I write another novella to go with it as a print combo. I don’t write novellas very often, but when and if I do and they fit together, they’ll go to print.
Will you be writing more books after GODDESS WITH A BLADE? I loved writing the book and the world is one I definitely plan on returning to. At this point I’m contracted into 2013 and my writing calendar is scheduled into late next year. Between that and Carina’s schedule – you won’t see anything next year, but I do hope to see something in 2013.
Will there be any more Cherchez Pack books? I’m sorry to say I don’t think so. I loved writing the books and I’m always so thrilled readers enjoy them. But I don’t write for that publisher any more and breaking a series between two publishers is a complicated and time consuming process. I’m contracted into 2013 at this point and I just don’t have the time.
If I ever did find a way to do it, I totally would because I’d love to give Phillip and Skye their happily ever afters!
Angie asked: Will the Chase novella you’re writing for the print version of Once and Again be released in e-book? If so, any idea of a release date?
Yes, it will be in digital as well as in the print version of the book. It’ll come out the same month as ONCE AND AGAIN comes out in print (fall 2012)
Jess asked: how do you decide if a book is going to be sensual or erotic? Is it your decision or does it depend on your publisher? Every story has its own trip from beginning to end – so while my HEAT books are erotic romance, they’re meant to be because it’s an erotic romance line and that’s what I knew when I began to sketch the books out. And my Chase and Petal books are more sensual because that’s what the story demands. So the answer is it’s really a combination of both – what the story demands and also what the line it’s for is.
If you’ve got more – ask em in the comments and I’ll do my level best to get to them all today or next Sunday.

Hey Lauren, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your books! It’s an addiction 🙂
My question for you is how do you decide if a book is going to be sensual or erotic? Is it your decision or does it depend on your publisher? Thanks
