Ok, so this one is probably my favorite of the four, though they’re all beautiful. This one has that sexy edge that Cassie and Shane have together…
Cassie Gambol is on the run. In what seems like another lifetime, her ex-husband nearly ended her life and effectively ended her successful career as a vascular surgeon. But even though the justice system found him guilty of attempted murder, he fled while awaiting sentencing and Carly Sunderland became Cassie Gambol.
Fleeing Los Angeles, she heads to small and off the map Petal, Georgia to start her life again.
Shane Chase, a man who’s held himself away from commitment since his fiancée dumped him several years before knows the beautiful newcomer is hiding something. He’s wildly attracted to her strength and her underlying vulnerability as well.
But the last thing Cassie wants is another big, overwhelming man who wants to control her life. A battle begins between Shane, who knows what he wants and Cassie, who knows she needs to do everything she can to keep a distance between herself and the very handsome sheriff.
But Cassie’s ex is back and he wants her dead.
Today’s question – for a copy of Taking Chase – I’m planning to write about the Murphys next. The first book, Once Bitten, is Nathan’s story. Who else in Petal would you like to see a novel about and why?
I’ll choose a winner tomorrow when I post the Chased cover!

This is also a nice cover. But why are men’s head’s always cut off? I think you know who I want to see next after Nathan. Polly and Edward. And I know that Tate had few unmarried sisters who worked w/ her in the shop. Who I currently wouldn’t mind seeing a story for.

Edward and Polly! I just think they would have an amazing story together and would be incredibly fun to read.

SERIOUSLY? Edward and Polly!!!!! I have been wanting their story since Polly first put her high healed bufont haired self in the first book. Edward now there is a man with a past and I want to see what he did to deserve Polly. Besides you know I will not leave ya alone till you write it. LOL

It has to be either Polly & Edward (I love those two they are so dynamic) There’s something about a man as strong as he is, letting his wife make all the decisions, we know Polly has a strong voice, but it’s always come across to me that he loves her so much that’s why he does it, that and she’s always right…how can she not be keeping 5 men on the straight and narrow…Polly scares even me!
Cassie’s brother, really having trouble remembering his name, sorry.

I would love a story on Polly. With three sons of my own, I identified with her on several occasions. Not sure whether it should be full length though.

My vote goes to Polly too, I adore her. She is like the glue that connects this family, and I love her humor and down to it personality.

Hello,
I will concur with the group – that the new cover is quite cool. I have not had the chance to read this series, yet. So, I wouldn’t be able to suggest a couple for a new story. Actually, its your post that put the books onto my radar. The series sounds like a great read. Thanks.

Okay, I’d love to read about Tate’s siblings. They are all so full of love. And, of course, a Polly and Edward story would be fantastic. 😀

Hi Lauren
Don’t enter me as I have this wonderful series. Love the new covers though.
Hands down we need the prequel with Polly & Edward. I have a feeling that she’d be ahead of her time and can imagine her as a strong, smokin’ hot young woman.

BTW, these books are still on my desk because I can’t put them away.

Hi! So far, I’ve only read the first two Chase Brothers books(Giving Chase and Taking Chase), although I’m currently being shipped Marc and Liv’s story Chased, and am really enjoying the stories(although i don’t own them, only loaning from people I know). I think you go into great depth with your main characters, and express their feelings well. Two people I would really like to know the story of are Edward and Polly. I know there have been a lot of comments about them having a book, but I think that even a short story or prequel or something about their relationship and how they wound up together, maybe something during their sons’ lives when there were working through some tough problems, would be really rewarding. They make up such a rich part of each Chase book, and I would be really interested in reading their story. Especially since I just read Shane and Cassie’s book, Taking Chase, I would definitely read a book about Cassie’s older brother Brian. I think he was an amazing rock through her war(?) with her ex-husband, and I want to know he’s moved on after everything. I think the guilt he must feel, and the differences in his life now that he doesn’t have to worry about Cassie(as much), would be a great place to build off of.

Having not read any of these books I am at a disadvantage. Having the new covers will spark new interest in these stories. I plan on adding them to my tbr pile once the new covers are available.
