Scene from my glamorous author life:
Husband and I on couch, watching Top Gear. Noise from upstairs that sounds like jumping, pause, ouch, giggle, jumping.
We go up: They’re taking turns on middle boy’s bed. One stands while other kneels. Standing child yells, “THIS IS SPARTA” and kicks kneeling child onto nest of blankets.
Over and over apparently.

LOL… I remember playing similar games with my siblings. All three of us were in the same bedroom at one point!
I had to stop and comment with your TopGear comment. My husband is addicted to it and watches reruns on the internet almost every night! I still can’t help but laugh every time they say “boot” or bash American cars. 😀

Miranda – we love Top Gear! Love their back and forth and they have the best Britishisms (like Pillock, etc)
Nancy – after the fear goes away, they can be pretty cute kids.
