New Month – How About A Contest or Three?

So, as it happens, there are a lot of really awesome books out just now from some of my favorite people. Jaci Burton, HelenKay Dimon, and Mark Henry all have books out either today or tomorrow. So I thought, hey, why not give away a copy of each book? Makes me feel like the book fairy, LOL.

HelenKay Dimon’s Leave Me Breathless is out! Wheeee! You can read an excerpt at her website!

PERMISSION TO APPROACH

According to Judge Bennett Walker, trying to kill him is a dumb idea. They might make him wear a big black nightgown to work, but it covers a lot of muscles, and he’s definitely packing beneath it. He’s also an ex-prosecutor and an ex-GI Joe. So when his brother brings in Callie Robbins to protect him, Ben has a few issues. First, he doesn’t need a bodyguard. Second, she’s a 130-pound girl—more smoking hot than smoking gun. And third, what if his body wants her guarding the night shift?

Callie has no problem brushing aside Ben’s disbelief. She left the FBI to escape the boys’ club, but she can be deeper undercover and twice as lethal as any beefy John Doe. As for whether someone’s after Bennett or not, the death threats and car bombs look pretty convincing to Callie. Of course, she might get distracted, sitting inches from the sexiest judge in DC for ten hours a day. Keeping him safe is no picnic. Keeping it professional—that might be impossible.

Jaci Burton’s Bound, Branded & Brazen is officially out tomorrow! SQUEE! Lucky me, I got an early look and you’re all in for a treat! You can head over to her website to read an excerpt!

Bound, Branded, and Brazen

Bound by passion, branded by love, brazen enough to take it all…

In the wilds of Oklahoma, three sisters have a hot date with destiny. Valerie, Brea, and Jolene McMasters reunite on the family ranch that should have been called the Bar Nothing…

Bound…

When Valerie left for the big city, she kissed her foreman husband, Mason, goodbye—along with the best sex she ever had. Now, seeing him brings back sizzling memories. But their rekindled fire threatens to burn them both.

Branded…

Watching Gage wrangle untamed horses with a gentle but firm touch leaves Brea hot and bothered. But can she live out her fantasy with a man who may ask more than she’s willing to give?

Brazen…

Ranch hand Walker Morgan can’t afford to lose his job by getting too close to his new boss, Jolene, no matter how much she tempts him. But Jolene’s prepared to take the first step, because what Jolene wants, Jolene gets. And Jolene wants Walker.

Mark Henry’s next chapter in zombie fashionista Amanda Feral’s life, Battle of the Network Zombies is finally available! If you like your humor served up with a side of snark and some horror – these books are for you. I laugh and cringe and laugh again. No one out there writes like Mark does (and that’s a compliment)

In Seattle’s undead circles, Amanda Feral is one of the beautiful zombies. Of course, when you’re socializing with werewolves, devils, and rampaging yetis, there’s not that much competition. Still, Amanda has a stylish rep to maintain, which is getting tricky now that her tanking ad agency is obliterating her finances. The fastest way to make some cash: appear on a new reality show, American Minions, hosted by lecherous wood nymph Johnny Birch. Classy? Maybe not, but a girl’s gotta eat.

With zombie gal pal Wendy posing as her bitchy agent, Amanda settles in to “Minions Mansion,” crowded with 24-7 video cameras and undead fame whores. When Johnny is found incinerated in a locked room, Amanda decides to channel her inner Miss Marple (minus the fugly cardigans) and find out who’s responsible. Was it Hairy Sue, the white trash stripper yeti? Tanesha, the glamorous trannie werewolf? Angie, the Filipino vampire with a detachable head? Unveiling the culprit in a heart-stopping finale won’t just save the show from cancellation, it might just keep Amanda alive—or as close as a ghoul can get…

Wanna win one of these fab books? Well, you may just! I’ll choose three winners at random from the comments to this post by noon pacific tomorrow! Just answer: So far for 2010, what has been your favorite book?

Winners have seven days to claim their prize and please remember to answer the question so you can be eligible! Good luck!

Due to my hectic schedule- caring for 2 young daughters while my husband finishes law school and works, I find that short stories/novellas work best for me. I recently gave myself a Kindle and love “listening to my books” while I am driving or doing chores around the house- hating doing laundry and dishes, anyway,, so if that counts too, hhaaa. I loved Emma Wildes’ “Sins of their Fathers” and Sage Burnett’s “Seducing Maggie” and “Conflict of Emotions”. Great reads or “listens”.:)
