As you might imagine, I came home from National with more than a few books just so I could give many of them away to you all!
So, today’s selection is a grab bag of three books (I’m going to put them in a bag and grab them at random so it’ll be a surprise whatever I get – but all romance in any case!
To help me put together suitable groupings of genres – today’s question is: What’s your favorite romance genre? Contemporary? Sci Fi? Romantic Suspense? Paranormal? Historical?
I’ll randomize a winner from the comments tomorrow afternoon! Remember, you’ve got three days to claim the prize or I’ll re-draw. Good luck!

Romance – of course, but within romance? I like contemporary, historical – but regency – nothing before 1800 really, and no highlanders/scottish romances :X, and then, paranormals as well.
Haha I’m such a picky reader- the geographic restrictions are because of dialogue :X I picture things in my head/hear characters, so if I don’t know what they sound like it really throws me off.

Yay Lauren, thanks for bringing goodies home for us!
It wasn’t listed as a category, but of course EROTIC ROMANCE is my favorite! That was probably implied though, in which case I would say my favs are romantic suspense, paranormals, and westerns, though I will read anything that has a decent plot, good characters, and hawt sex.
Thanks for the contest!

A true grab bag, huh? LOL
Okay, genres. All of the above? Romantic suspense is probably my least favorite, unless we’re talking flat romance with nothin’ else. And paranormal/scifi/fantasy would be top of my list. But, really? I’ll try anything!

Oh, this question is actually really hard for me. I love pretty much all the genres with paranormal at the top. I love the idea of a miscellaneous grab bag – it’s so mysterious! 🙂

Favorite reads: historical, romantic suspense,
contemporary, westerns, most everything
except paranormals, sci-fi, and fantasy.
( although I have read at least one of each
of the last three, just to see what they are
all about!)

Okay, if I HAVE TO pick my fave it is Romantic/suspense. (the steamier the better)!! I do however, read all of the above!! 😉

I like romantic suspense — especially if humor is used well. I like quick-wittedness in person and on paper. I still read lots of contemporary romances, not a lot of historical ones, and only a few paranormal and sci fi. Variety is the spice of life!

I love the paranormal genre, particularly anything with shifters. Also, quite enjoy a good sci-fi.
