You can read an excerpt here and see Mario’s other Felix Gomez books in the series as well. I admit what drew me to the first book was the title. I mean, hello, Nymphos of Rocky Flats? But the writing is what brought me back. Acevedo’s world is interesting, dark, funny and it does not take itself too seriously. It’s most certainly a new spin on vampires and I highly recommend the whole series.

Hmm. Hard choice. Is Acheron a vampire, technically? If not, then probably Zsadist or Vishous of the BDB. I’ll always have a special place in my heart for Lestat as he was in The Vampire Lestat and The Tale of the Body Thief, too.

I love Edward in the Twilight series and Acheron though not sure he is considered a vampire and love Z in Blackdagger Brotherhood (JR Ward) so I can’t just pick one.

Tough call for me to choose between Angel and Spike. I think Angel edges out Spike for me. However, they are both delicious! 😈

I have the first book of this series in my to be read pile here! I remember reading the blurb in the store and starting to read this one and loved it. I put it back, but my hubby took it back out for me to get! He’s a sweetie. Now I must read soon!
Its hard to pick favorite vamps from books I read (I never saw a movie, but did see MOONLIGHT on TV and so upset they canceled it after one year. Mick was so good and yummy!) In books, recently I read MICHAEL by Angela Cameron and it was so good! I’m about to read JONAS soon. They are in ebook at Ravenous. Going to check on others here mentioned too!
