So – Making Chase

I’m sitting here surrounded by Chase boys. You did know I had two releases in June right? Well on Tuesday, the very last Chase Brothers book, Making Chase, releases from Samhain. So I’m snuggling up on Matt while I can (when Tate isn’t looking) because after Tuesday he’s all hers. Too bad because he’s very cute and he smells good too. In my brain, they’re all mine. Hey, why do you think I write them anyway? Jeez.

So moving along, I thought it would be fun to oh, I don’t know, give away an ARC of Making Chase if folks are so inclined. What do you say?

So it goes like this – those of you who’ve read my Chase books, which is your favorite and why? Those that haven’t – why do you like contemporary romance and toss a few favorites my way because I’m always looking for new books.

And that’s all. I’ll toss names into the hopper at say, 6 pm pacific/9 eastern tonight and choose a winner. G’wan – you know you want to!

My favorite is Kyle. Besides being sexy he was cool and sweet and caring. He went toe to toe with his own brother.

    Love ya Lauren!

You don’t have to include me in the drawing for the ARC, of course, but I fell compelled to say that my favorite is Shane. I didn’t like him much in the previous story but I understood WHY he was the way he was. And when he hooked up with Cassie, they sparked, then exploded. They were perfect for one another. Perfect!

Taking Chase is my pick because Shane finally gets his girl.

Kyle – definitely. Not afraid to wear his heart on his sleeve, yet still a man all the way around.

I loved that he wasn’t afraid to show his feelings when Maggie was kidnapped – he was terrified, he cried, he was angry. He never felt like he had to put on a front.

And how he wanted to boost up Maggie’s self-esteem to show her how awesome she truly was – “He had to launch Operation Make Margaret Wright Know What A Goddess She Was, and he had to do it right away.” *sigh* Every woman would kill for a guy like that to want her.

i loved them all but Kyle has a special place in my heart. I think it’s because of the dynamics between him and Maggie as well as between him and his brothers. I’m looking forward to Matt’s story.

okay – honestly – i did the whole i love Kyle best, no.. Shane, no… Marc, no… Kyle thing.

BTW – Mama Chase was a hoot.
And of course i waive myself from the contest cuz I’m already feeling the Chase lurv.

Your first book in the series is my fave. It was highly emotional to me.

Favorite??? Can I say all three (soon to be four)??? If I have to pick one I’d say the first as it introduced this really great family.

If I had to pick I would say Chased. I Really enjoyed Marc & Liv’s story. I like that he had to work to get the girl

Ack! I just got updated with the Enforcer series, now you have Ascension … I haven’t had a chance to chase the Chase guys yet.

I can do the contemporary question though.
What do I like about them?
Gee, if they happen in the world around me, maybe I’ll be lucky enough to experience a thing or two.
But then again, the contemporaries I like lately are Tara Jaenzen’s “Crazy” series and Suzanne Brockmanns’s Team 10 and Team 16 sereis … and ..um that’s one element I would like to stay away from since the good guys are chasing after really nasy terrorists bent on doing Americans and other innocents serious harm.

But I really am into the really good guys with the badass attitude and the weapons of body, mind and machinery to back them up.
I need to believe guys like that, exist because the news is so darned depressing!

Cherry Adair comes to mind too.. the guys from T-Flac … again, anti terrorist heroes.

    I think they’re filling a need, don’t you?

OH! I second Shuck Ying’s vote for Lori Foster. How’d I forget her? She’s just plain fun!

Matt Chase is my favorite. I can’t believe you made me boo-hoo so hard with that story you evil writer person you. 😛

That was awesome Lauren. And Ascension was outstanding. When does Laurent’s story come out, huh? I’m dying here.

I havene’t read your chase series yet–but it sounds intriguing from all the comments you have left on here…

And I do love contemporary romances. Christina Dodd is one of my favorite authors to read. Also the classic Nora Roberts.
