Thirteen Random Things Because I’m Stressed and Still Brain Mushed
1. I meant to be able to visit with a lot more people at RT and did not! I’m disappointed about that.
2. But I’m overjoyed to have had our little RT posse – Megan, Amelia and Laura.
3. I need to go dancing more often.
4. I started writing GWAB again last night and this thrills me.
5. It also scares me.
6. I get to see Anya in a month!
7. I have the best husband ever.
8. I have A LOT of work to do
9. Suddenly I’m so busy it’s disconcerting but wonderful all at once
10. I hate waiting
11. I’m still fighting off the cold that threatened before I left for RT. It’s back and has settled into my throat and appears to want to timeshare there. I have too much to do this weekend so my husband is plying me with vitamins
12. I brought back three dozen books from RT and I don’t have time to read any of them
13. Tater tots are still as good as they were when I was a kid. Ding dongs are not.

You’ve been very busy the past few weeks! Glad you had such a wonderul time at RT. It sounds fun, but hectic. You’ll have to go again next year to do all the things you missed this year. *g*

Very disappointing about Ding Dongs. I will savor my memories. 😆 YES for Goddess With A Blade!

I lurve tator tots. I’m sorry you didn’t get to meet everyone you wanted to, but if you go to RT next year, you’ll have another opportunity.
I was planning on going, but after the RT fiasco with Laura Baumbach, I’m not sure I will.
And speaking of Ding Dongs, it’s been years and years since I’ve eaten on of those. LOL

I couldn’t find a Ding Dong here to test that theory. We have different snack cakes; most of them have both jam and cream inside.

You are sick too? *hugs* (I’m not, but you know Megan is, I’m sure)

Oh Angie, I so needed that laugh today!
Yep May, me too although I didn’t break anything from coughing like Megan did!
Rhian – of course. I absolutely require you to be part of our RT posse.
BRL – I wanted to chat with Gennita Low and Jordan Summers a lot longer but that did not happen – I’m pouty about it but yes, there’s always next year.
Mel – I’m so thrilled! I can’t wait to meet you.
Charli – yes, I picked it up last night after not looking at it for six months but it held up which made me relieved.
NJ – no kiddin! But busy is good, I’m busy for good reasons, it’s just sort of nerve wracking.
Annie – even when they’re frozen they aren’t as good as I remember. I think it must be that when I was young we rarely bought that kind of stuff so it all had special status in my head.

Um…what’s a tater tot? Don’t know what a ding dong is either but apparently I’m not missing out 😉
I hope you get rid of that cold. And good husbands are just the best.

I’m such a hopeless foodie. Here you have this nice list of things, Lauren, and all I can focus on are the tater tots and ding dongs. I haven’t had either in at least a decade. Now I’m going to have to remedy that so I can make my own taste test. 😀
Too bad you couldn’t have met more people at RT but it sounds like you had a great time anyway. There’s always next year!

Dasiy – you crack me up. Even on other people’s blogs. You need to come with a warning sign. “Spewage Zone”
