Thirteen Totally Random and Unrelated Things About Me

Thirteen Totally Random and Unrelated Things About Me

1. I’m religious about breakfast. I take breakfast very seriously and without a good breakfast I’m ravenous and slighly woozy all day long.

2. I put 300 tassles on bookmarks last night and I have a thousand left to go

3. I absolutely hate things that don’t make sense. Even if I don’t agree with something, if there are rules that led to that opinion or situation, I can accept it. But when things happen for no apparent reason, it drives me nuts.

4. I’d really like to sell a book this week.

5. I have an airplane book for RT – Night Rising

6. Every once in a while for no apparent reason I’ll sing the chorus from Electro Woman and Dyna Girl (see how I date myself?)

7. I love green olives

8. I am a not so secret fan of Laguna Beach. Oh the teenage drama!

9. I cannot believe Sci Fi is going to make me wait until next year for more episodes of Battlestar Galactica

10. I bought hot curlers the other day

11. I need to buy body scrub stuff this weekend

12. I don’t like banana splits

13. I am of the sincere belief adding cheese to just about anything makes it better

here’s the thing: I love banana splits, but I hate bananas.

And when I type “banana” I always want to keep going. Annie Dean and I were just talking about how every time she sees the name “Eric Bana,” she always wants to add another “na” to the end. So I asked her, “Does it make you feel better that his real last name is Banadinovich?” And it does.

Sorry for the ramble. The word “banana” drives me nuts.

My Cookie threw the biggest man fit when he realized BSG wasnt coming back until next year!

And cheese is a wonderful thing. 🙂

Dionne – I’d sink a spoon into Eric Bana anytime. Sigh. I only remember how to spell banana because of the commercial. Much like I remember the preamble to the constitution because of Schoolhouse Rock. Yes, I’m just that intellectual.

    RG – cheese rocks.

Breakfast is my favorite meal–I even love having breakfast food for dinner.

Whew–you must be bleary-eyed and have mighty sore fingers after doing all those tassels! But I’m betting you’ll have a blast at RT and it’ll all be worth the effort.

I don’t like banana splits either. I’m a hot fudge sundae girl! And I’m with you about the cheese. Mmmm!

Michelle – yeah, LOL! I should have been prepared earlier but well, yeah, life got in the way.

Rhian – well, always to readers yes, but I meant more along the lines of one of the editors with one of my manuscripts on their desk! And I’ve got this sort of 40’s hair vibe happening, the curling iron takes too long but the hot curlers are easier.

I think you’ll like the effect the hot rollers are going to give you!

Great list Lauren, except for one…#8! You and I need to sit down and have a chat about how unreal this show really is. Oh, and yes, I think cheese makes everything better as well – yum, cheese 🙂

If it wasn’t for cheese my toddler wouldn’t eat. He only eats cheese and bread. Or cheese on bread. Or mac and cheese. Sigh.

I don’t envy you the bookmarks.

And I’m not a big fan of banana splits, but I love banana split blizzards from Dairy Queen! yum!

And I remember how to spell banana from the Gwen Stefani song 🙂

    Happy TT!

I dunno, I think not liking banana splits is kinda sacreligious… It’s a good thing you redeemed yourself with the cheese. 😉

    Re: #3.

That’s why I hate Spongebob. It makes no sense that he’s living in the ocean and he has a job as a fry cook….

#13 is 100% right. Cheese makes everything taste better!

Good look with the tassles for the bookmarks! That’s a lot of tassles.

I’m not a fan of bananna splits. Ice cream only needs hot fudge to make it complete.

I’m a breakfast gal, too. I’ve gotta have breakfast and it’s my favorite meal of the day. Cheese – yep. Totally!

I’m crossing my fingers for that book sale. 😀

    Go, tassles!!

I hear you on #4. I feel a Tom Petty song coming on…

The waiting is the hardest part… 😆

And I’d be okay with banana splits if they didn’t have the pineapple topping. What the heck is that? Give me chocolate, and give it to me now!

Kate – that’s it exactly! The pineapple mixes with the strawberrry and totally ruins everything! And yes, I hate waiting!

    Thanks Shell!

NJ – I’m with ya on cheese. Have you ever had Kerrygold white cheddar? Holy moley I could eat an entire package by myself.

    Angelika – Bwah!

Daisy – yeah, RT is going to be so much fun!

Tilly, LOL I know it’s not real, but it’s hilarious!

Riley – yeah, I just need to use stuff like hairspray now. Haven’t used it in a very long time.

Amelia – my 9 year old never grew out of his mac and cheese obsession.

    Lara – it’s the pineapple!

Annie – I love butterfinger blizzards, yum!

    Charli – no kiddin!

Crystal – the dude and I were like, “did they say 2008!” after the BSG season finale.

looking forward to finally meeting you next week!!!
