Monday Again

2006

And it’s raining so much it was quite the challenge to get my middle kiddo to his preschool in the valley. Lots of standing water as the falling leaves have filled the drains. The news was saying it was taking up to two hours to get into Seattle from the suburbs because of standing water and accidents. My poor husband had to be in that this morning, I hope he’s at work by now. Man, I may get grumpy because my life is all about kid herding during the day but I don’t miss the commute.

The weekend went really fast but I did manage to write 9 thousand words so I’m not complaining at all! I’m in the home stretch with Threat of Darkness now, yay!

BTW, I’m going to be doing a LM day “Shifters and Menages” at the EC Board tomorrow http://groups.yahoo.com/group/ellorascavechat/ Come on over for great excerpts and the chance to win prizes.

I’ll also be doing a LM day at the Samhain Cafe on November 20 with the other authors who are releasing on and around the 21st – Me, Beth Williamson, Kai Anderson, Sylvia Violet, Diane Craver, Jenn Andrus and Sara Reinke. Don’t miss it! I’ll put more info up as we approach the day.

What did everyone do this weekend?

You oughta see the rain over here by the Hoh! I hope nobody’s hydroplaning on 101. Rain should let up tomorrow. Today’s a good day to curl up with a good book.

What I did this weekend: sent off my 07 Caveman submission.

I worked on getting a friend’s website put together. Fun 🙂

And I read, read, read!!! Had me a ball.

Can’t wait for release day! Totally looking forward to Taking Chase and The Gift!

No rain here in the southland, just lots of high wind and fire danger… hope you dry out soon 🙂

Hmm what did I do. Ooh had the meeting with Eden for GSRWA. That was great! And then a butt load of writing for NaNo!

I agree, the rain thing is nuts! I heard it was really bad out that way!
