My oldest son got the Sly Cooper game for the PS2 for his birthday. It’s a fun game, it’s fun to play and not so hard that my 4 year old can’t at least win part of it. What I love most is when I do some move and my sweetest boy will say, “momma, you’re so cool! I love it when you teach me new stuff! You rock.”
No, what rocks is that my eight year old tells me I rock. I taught him to do the devil horns so now when something cool happens he flashes them at me. Megan Hart would be proud, I need to get a picture of it to send to her. (she’s one of the few people who loves the devil horn enough to co-create an international emoticon symbol for it. In fact, Megan, Anya Bast and I have made up quite a few of those and Allie McKnight helped. Yeah, sometimes trouble is fun)
I got a review of Triad today from TCM, which is a new outlet for reviews of erotic romance. It’s a nice one and I like that every once in a while, something from Triad will pop up.
I heard from an old friend today, and she’s well and I may end up seeing her this month, which is nice. I don’t see enough of my friends these days.

Aww, that must be such a sweet moment. I know children have a way of making me feel like the smartest person in the world when they look at me with adulation.

It’s the best part of mothering. So much of it can be routine and drudgery and nagging that when they can see that you’re trying to help them and they recognise that, it’s just the best
