Thirteen chances to win books, plus a shot at winning your very own Nook eReader from Barnes and Noble!
Here are all the details so please read carefully!
Two contests:
1.) The main contest is for the Nook and it ends on January 5th. This post will remain sticky so people can enter until then.
2.) The Book-a-Day contests will be daily. On December 24th and 25th Anya and I are taking a contest break, but check back here because I may just do something special. Check back here and on Anya Bast’s blog (http://www.anyabast.com/blog/) to enter those. Scroll down past this sticky post for those.
BOTH CONTESTS START DECEMBER 21!
1. Copy the code (click on ’share’) of the graphic above and post it to your blog. Add a link to my blog from your blog, saying something like, “Click here to enter Curl Up with a Book…and a Nook Contest”.
2. Publish your blog.
3. Come back here and reply to this post with a link to your blog entry and your answer to the following question: What new books are you looking forward to loading onto your Nook (should you win it) in the New Year?
If for whatever reason you’re technically challenged and can’t post the graphic, that’s okay. Just blog about the contest and provide a link to it. That’s a totally fine alternative.
What if you don’t have a blog?
Tell at least one other people about the contest who you think might want to enter. Post about it in a forum, on a loop, a friend via email, on MySpace, Facebook ect. Obviously, I can’t verify if you did it or not, so this is on the honor system. Once you’ve done that, reply to this post and tell me about it. Oh, and don’t forget to answer the question: What new books are you looking forward to loading onto your Nook (should you win it) in the New Year?
Be sure and check in every day from December 21st to January 5th. I will be giving away THIRTEEN books by ANYA BAST and she will be giving away THIRTEEN LAUREN DANE books over on her blog (http://www.anyabast.com/blog/). Check back every morning on this blog and also on Anya’s blog to enter for a chance to win that day’s book.
I’ll be using random.org to choose a winner each day at random. Check in the next day for the winner of the previous day’s book. WINNERS HAVE SEVEN DAYS TO CLAIM THEIR PRIZE and it’s the winner’s job to check back and see if they’ve won.
You must be at least 18 to enter! By entering this contest you’re saying that you are at least 18 years of age. Not all of the books that will be given away are erotic, but some of them REALLY are.
Yes, I welcome international entries! I figure if you can read me in Germany or wherever, I can mail your prize there.
Yes, you can enter for multiple days, even if you’ve won a prior day.
You must answer the posed question in your reply to be entered.
Other authors are totally eligible to enter. Authors are readers too, after all.
Lastly, this contest is VOID WHERE PROHIBTED.

by Erica P December 21st, 2009 at 10:18 amHi Lauren, I posted on my FB page. You are on my f-list so feel free to check it out. lol
As for my reading choices for 2010…
Well anything you publish. I have already preordered Coming Undone on Amazon.ca so that will be my first 2010 purchase.
I am so looking forward to J. R. Ward’s Lover Mine in April. Literally spring cannot come fast enough.
Shayla Black has two Doomsday Brethern books coming out Fall 2010. Oh and Delicious which is coming out in March.
Maya Banks has Sweet Temptation coming out in April so that is a for sure purchase.
Also Janet Evanovich’s Sizzling Sixteen will be published in June. That is another 100% purchase.
Thanks!
by MichelleKCanada December 21st, 2009 at 10:19 amPosted to my blog (http://zombiejoe.wordpress.com) and on Twitter. Still trying to figure out why the embed code is not working, so I just linked it to this blog entry. I also added it to my blogroll.
As for the books I am looking forward to, the ones on my calendar so far are more UF than PR…
Mage in Black by Jaye Wells
Battle of the Network Zombies by Mark Henry
Dead Matter by Anton Strout
Cat’s Claw by Amber Benson
Unholy Ghosts by Stacia Kane

I forward your contest to my three sisters, and several pals. I can’t blog but I hope the forwards will count. I have over 125 pen pals who I still hand write to but about half also has a computer so I am sending this out to all I can. Most are readers since I write to people who has same interests as I do. I also have a reader group and it would be a thrill to win the Nook so I could let others know it is fun to read a book by a Nook and not just by the paper form. I will be entering each day..God willing. Merry Christmas. susan L.

What new books are you looking forward to loading onto your Nook (should you win it) in the New Year?
Well, now that I have been turned on to your books by a friend, I’d love to get into what you have published. I also want to go back and read some of the classics that I have missed out on in my years away from reading. I’d like to finish the Harry Potter’s, and the Percy Jacksons, and I’d like to read Tessa Dare’s collections along with Elizabeth Hoyt’s. Oh, and Courtney Milan’s new work coming in the new year.
Thank you!

by Robert McKay January 4th, 2010 at 11:01 amHi Lauren, I posted about your blog on my site at Rhodes Review. If I were to win a Nook, I’m not sure I’d pick new books, unless something grabbed me. But I know I’d definitely load it with Lord of the Rings, and the Harry Potter series. I’ve read LOTR, but haven’t read any of Harry Potter. I’d also tend to use it as a place to put those books I want a copy of, but don’t necessarily need a physical copy of.
by Rick January 4th, 2010 at 11:10 amPosted about this on my blog long ago adn wrote that on Anyas site.
So here I am again on this site and this time I posted on Facebook :=D
