Calvin Whaley was simply beautiful. At six feet and change, he was already imposing, but the broad shoulders stretched under olive toned skin, taut with just the right amount of muscle. A narrow waist, a high, tight ass and long, powerful legs. Add the black hair, cut flawlessly and therefore framing his face to highlight his gorgeous features, and the blue eyes and you didn’t even need the fact that he had an incredible sense of style so the package was always attractively dressed in clothes that fit him perfectly.

Breathless as she rolled out the dough, she couldn’t take hear gaze from him.

He kissed her on his way past. His gaze moved around the room as he took in the pies cooling on racks. His mouth curved upward a bit. Over to the stove where she’d just placed the finished cobbler to cool. Over to Gideon and up his legs and to his face. Sexy half smile this time.

Jules gulped, not even able to brace herself for his attention and when his gaze lighted on her face, she licked her lips.

“No one looks at me the way you do.”

When I wrote him, I’d always have David Gandy in my head…

Today’s contest is for a digital ARC of SWAY (my story in the Cherished duology out in August) Winner will be chosen from comments to this post and announced in the winners’ announcement post on Monday May 21! What contemporary romances are you looking forward to this summer?

I’ve already pre-ordered Laid Bare, but that would be autumn, wouldn’t it? Lorelei James has two (!) books out this summer that I have also pre-ordered and am eagerly looking forward to reading. My TBR file on my Kindle is daunting and I keep hoping to make some headway on that…all I need is time, which seems to be in short supply for everyone 🙂

Shayla Black’s: Mine to Hold, Lorelei James’s: One Night Rodeo, Maya Banks’s: Echos at Dawn, Annabel Joseph’s: Burn for You and of course your Cherished duology with Maya Banks. So all in all it should be a pretty hot summer 🙂

I’ve just started on the Fool’s Gold series so I’ll likely pick up the two coming out over the summer. I’m also looking forward to Susan Elizabeth Phillip’s _The Great Escape_. I tend to read a lot more Paranormal/Contemporary Fantasy so it’s not a long list!

I am so out of the loop lately…that I am not sure what is coming out this summer. I know that I am, of course, looking forward to Chaos Burning and Shannon Stacey’s Slow Summer Kisses.

Be still my heart, but Gandy is looking FINE ~ I don’t think I’ll have any problem at all putting him in the role of Calvin!

Ooh, right now the biggie on the horizon is Tangle of Need by Nalini Singh. Cannot WAIT! Tart , Vortex by Cherry Adair, Slow Summer Kisses by Shannon Stacey, Devils Gate by Thea Harrison, Sweet Talk by Julie Garwood…Wow, and I could go on, lol!

Chaos Burning. How to Drive a Dragon Crazy by GA Aiken,
and Julie Garwood’s new one. I credit Julie Garwood for my
love of romance genre. I picked up one of her books in high
school and there has been no going back for me. I have not missed one of her books since then.

I have so many books on my Kindle waiting for me to read this summer that I’m glad I have the summer off to read! I just might make it through half of them before I have to go back to work! Most of them are PNR since I seem to be on a kick lately.
