Let’s see – I’m working on Beth Murphy’s book proposal just now. I’m still working on a title for it. I’ve got a working title but I don’t think it fits. I’m sort of superstitious about titles. I find it really difficult to work without one but at the same time, I hate coming up with them. Anyway, I’m hoping to be finished with the proposal by the end of the weekend so I can get it to my editor at Samhain.
I’m also working on Laid Open – the Ben, Todd and Erin novella that’ll be out in September. I love this triad! Really, writing Erin is easy for me a lot of the time because she’s such a three dimensional character to me. She’s never shy or coy about getting herself on the page. In that she’s a lot like Polly Chase, who is also a joy to write about.
So these two projects have been taking up most of my time (along with final pass pages for CAPTIVATED and CHAOS BURNING and the galleys for ONCE AND AGAIN and ALONE TIME for the print release in September).
Next up is Mary’s book in the Delicious series. Also have no title for it yet, but I’ve been working on it and making notes as I finish up these other two projects .
Lemme show you the inspriation for the hero in that book (all I’m going to say is that he’s a friend of Adrian’s and you’ll meet him in Tart in November)
Pretty, no? His name is Dimitris Alexandrou
Other stuff – Let’s see, been watching The Walking Dead with the husband. Love that damned show. Also, man oh man, while I do love me some Norman Reedus, it’s Andrew Lincoln who really makes that show for me. I love Rick Grimes as a character. The writing on the show is fantastic. If you haven’t seen it yet, you totally should give it a try.
I’ve got to get to work – have a million things to do today. Enjoy your weekend everyone! (and if you’re interested, I’ve been putting up some snippets from works in progress over at my facebook page…)
