Release Day Goodness (and some contesty stuff)

2010

Today is such a fabulous day for readers!

Anya Bast continues her most excellent Dark Magick series with Cruel Enchantment! This book, like the first in the series, is IMO, Anya at her best. I love her voice and in this series, it’s even better.

Even the most powerful hands need a delicate touch…

Emmaline Gallagher is a master of wielding personal glamour. As a free fae who lives among humans, she must hide her true self at all times as she works undercover within the powerful Phaendir—for if certain factions within the Phaendir gain control, the fae will be wiped from existence. Now, an object of fae power lies within a locked ancient box. And there is only one fae who can forge the key.

Known as “the Blacksmith” Aeric O’Malley can create or destroy almost anything with his forging skills. Emmaline has come to him in need, but he and Emmaline have a past—and he has spent centuries wanting to take revenge on her for her transgressions. But now that he has her within his grasp, something about her keeps him from exacting his vengeance—or is it merely her glamour blinding him?

Trapped by fate, Emmaline must hope that she can reach Aeric’s furious heart before it’s too late…

And another fabulous writer, Jaci Burton has another Wild Riders book out – Riding the Night! Such a fun, totally sexy series – love it.

AJ and Pax work together as undercover operatives for a government agency of bad-boy bikers known as the Wild Riders. And though they play as hard as they work, both men are looking for the one woman who can tame them…

On vacation, AJ and Pax run into AJ’s high school sweetheart, Teresa. While they’re catching up at Teresa’s bar, a fight erupts between two biker gangs, leaving one man dead and Teresa’s brother wrongly accused of murder. With no proof and Teresa as the only eye witness, the trio points their Harleys toward the annual bike rally in South Dakota in hot pursuit of the real killer…

Her life in jeopardy, AJ and Pax become Teresa’s fierce protectors. But a past trauma keeps Teresa guarded, unable to trust them–until AJ and Pax uncover her secret and vow to do anything to help her heal. And in their arms she discovers a sensual desire that knows no boundaries, a passion strong enough to overcome her tragic past and awaken a force that brings both men to their knees.

Danger may temporarily bind the three together, but it’s their shared passion that will lead them to the ride of their lives: love.

Because I love both these authors so much I’m going to give two prizes – one copy of Cruel Enchantment and one copy of Riding The Night – I’m sending them direct from Amazon so the only restriction is that you’ve got to live where Amazon delivers.

To enter, tell me the book(s) you’re most looking forward to this fall – don’t forget to also leave the name of the book you wish to be entered to win. I’ll choose a winner tomorrow afternoon at 5 pm pacific time!

The Darkest Hour is first on the list, once it is read I am on to the next one. Since I have Riding the Night shipping from Amazon with The Darkest Hour I would love to win Cruel Enchantment. I just found Anya online and started Witch Fire. Looking forward to enjoying another great series from a new to me writer.

Hi Lauren! Just have have to say I love your books and I love Jaci Burton! Riding the Night please! Some of the books I’m most looking forward to this fall:

Venom by Jennifer Estep is coming out on September 28. It’s the 3rd in her Elemental Assassin series about this badass former assassin named Gin Blanco. It’s net in a fictional southern city that’s really corrupt and populated with people who can control the elements, vampires, giants, trolls, etc. I love it and can’t wait.

Inside Out by you of course. I’ve read the other Brown family books and their definitely my favorites of yours. I really love the group of people you’ve gathered, and just how cool and original they are. Ella is a character I really felt for in Erin’s book, and I’m glad you’re devoting something to her and Andy 😀

Four Play by Maya Banks comes out on October 5 and I’m really excited for that. I really enjoy her menage stories because the issues the people involved face are always dealt with in good time, nothing rushed or jumped over just to get to the love scenes, which I feel like happens with other menage books I’ve read.

The Darkest Hour by Maya Banks just came out today and I really want to read that. It’s from her new Kelly series and sounds really dramatic. Reading about how Rachel is going to return from such a horrible, difficult, harrowing year is going to be painful but rewarding and fascinating.

Thanks so much for doing this contest/gifting!

I’ve been hearing so much about both books and reading lots of excerpts. Although I’d love them both I am going to pick Anya Bast’s Cruel Enchantment because I’ve recently been introduced to paranormal and loving it.

I am looking forward to An Echo in the Bone By Diana Gabaldon as it’s the latest in the Outlander series.
