It snowed last night. Dude. It’s March 29 and we got snow. It was like BRIGHT this morning, waking all the kids early so of course they had to share that love with their parents, grrr. They’re having breakfast just now, my dude went to Krispy Kreme yesterday so there’s doughnut love going on at the table. I need coffee to warm up, brrr!

I’ve had this idea for a series for a while and last night into this morning the pieces of it started really clicking into place. I started an outline yesterday so I need to get back to it today. I have a strong sense of the town, I can see it in my mind’s eye quite clearly. And one of the heroes is taking shape too. WHEEE!

Then again, it might be nice to watch DVDs and sit by the fire. The couch has lots of room, we have fluffy blankets and hot chocolate. The only thing I’d love even more is if we had cupcakes. Mmmmm cupcakes – funny how a little bit of frosting and cake can totally make a day perfect. Sadly, I can’t have perfection today – I’m on the “holy crap, RT is less than a month away and my ass is not gonna fit into any of my clothes if I eat cupcakes diet” though.

I have to deal with mount laundry and make sure all the stuf for the week is in place. Son #1 has to go get his stitches checked out tomorrow after school. There’s a parent meeting for the sleep away camp his class is doing this week as well as a field trip for kiddo #2 and I’ve got two books coming out Tuesday. Cripes!

Okay, I’m off to make coffee and maybe sneak in an episode of Buffy, heee! Enjoy the day everyone.

Ick! Sorry about the snow. Tis evil. We’re just getting a blah rainy day today here in T.O.

Ah well. Good writing weather anyway. Enjoy your day!

***SQUEEE**** Snow. LOL love the snow but it is freakin almost April! Cold here today. Still Crispy Creams and Cupcakes sound lovely.
OMG a new town and a hero! Oh you tease! I can not wait to learn more. I love your towns makes me think of Warm Sunny Petal and why the heck are we not sipping Lemonade and talking about Polly’s latest traffic ticket I will never know!

Lauren…it’s spitting snow in KY, too. I’m just veggin’ out today….think I’ll watch last night’s new Nora movie, play on internet and be lazy.
And I know whacha mean about cupcakes…been trying to talk myself out of brownies or cupcakes, but they’re so good on days like this, lol.
Have a good day, and good luck writing!!

*preparing to duck the rotten veggies* It was mid80s over here yesterday, and high70s today, with some warm water masquerading as rain.

Frankly, I wonder whether my brains will melt and leak out of my ears by the time August rolls around…

[Lauren, your diet sounds a lot like mine–perhaps because I’m gonna be around at RT? 😉 ]

About 8″ of snow fell over night where I am. I’m staying in today. Roads are bad and it’s cold out there.

No snow for us, but definitely a bit cooler today. Love recharging with a Buffy marathon, sorry about the no cupcake rule.

There is something so wrong about snow in the springtime! 😉

I hope your son is 100% ok now – and you too. Ack.
Also IT SNOWED HERE TOO. IT’S STILL SNOWING. And in fact, it snowed yesterday in Madison! I feel like snow is *following me across the country.* This makes me unhappy. That and airlines a) breaking things inside my suitcase on the way there and b) breaking my suitcase on the way home. Fun.

if tomorrow, the 31st, is as nice as today we’ll be able to say that March went out like a lamb. Wahoo.
