But their bliss is marred by the heavy hand of the werewolf mafia whose reach goes very high up indeed.
Money laundering, kidnapping, assault and other general mayhem can’t mar the intensity of their bond, but it sure can threaten their lives.
“You have to see this through. Not just to figure out what’s wrong to protect Tracy, but to protect the Pack. It’s your duty. I’ll help in whatever way I can.” Gabe looked at Nick, who’d sat back on the couch.
“Yes, it’s my duty. And I’ll do it because I’m the Enforcer and it’s my job to protect my Pack.” Nick took a deep breath and Tracy watched in awe as he pulled on his rank like a suit of armor. Sitting there, he radiated strength and power and menace.
“Wow, I know I’m not supposed to say this, but you’re really hot when you’re all badass.”
The look he sent her made heat spread outward from low in her gut. When he spoke, his voice was low and the bass in it vibrated down her spine. “I’m going to take you when this is over and my wolf is riding me, Tracy. I’m going to bury myself deep in your cunt and Gabe is going to fill you from behind. I’m going to mark you here,” he touched her neck where it met her shoulder, “and anywhere else that appeals to me.”
She blinked several times, feeling slightly lightheaded.
Gabe leaned in to growl in her ear. “Maybe I’ll put a chain through these rings,” his hands moved to her breasts, “and bind your hands. I’d like that, to see you bound and at my pleasure. At our pleasure. Perhaps even bring out the blindfold so you won’t know what you’ll feel next.”
She closed her eyes and let the image of that float through her system, making her feel heavy and warm.
Nick chuckled. “I think she likes that, Gabe.”
“Good, because I think we need a very large four-poster bed so that we can make use of the many ways to spread and bind her. Do you like rope, sweetheart?”
She shook herself out of her fantasy to answer. “Rope?”
“Mmm-hmmm. I think we’ve got a lot of things to try together, don’t you, Nick?”
“Most definitely.” Nick’s face was very close to Tracy’s and also to Gabe’s. Their mingled scent drove Tracy insane with need.
“Please fuck me,” she whispered as Nick’s hands worked at the button and zipper of her jeans.
Gabe pulled her sweater over her head and was back, hands on her breasts, mouth brushing hot kisses against the back of her neck.
“Stand up,” Nick said and she obeyed, both men still sitting. Nick pushed her jeans and panties down her legs and she stepped out of them and was there totally naked as both of them raked their eyes over her, devouring every detail of her body.
“You’re so beautiful there in the late afternoon sun, Tracy. Your skin nearly glows with the light. I love the way your back curves. You have such long legs but tiny feet. I don’t think I’ve seen a wolf with such petite features before.” Gabe stood and she heard his belt jingle as he loosened his pants and the hiss of the material as they hit the floor.
“Petite? I’m five-ten. That’s not petite.” Her voice nearly broke at the heat of him as he moved close behind her. She watched Nick pull off his shirt, exposing his chest and the flat, hard muscle there.
“Yes you’re tall, but you have a pixie nose and freckles across your cheeks and a sweet mouth to go with those tiny feet. It’s your features that are petite.” Gabe spoke as he took her wrists and she felt the cool leather of his belt wrap around them. “Is this all right with you?” He spoke softly as he tightened the belt, binding her hands and lower arms.
Excitement coursed through her body. “Yes. I trust you.”
Gail gives Tri Mates 4 1/2 Stars in the May Issue of Romantic Times Magazine! She says: Dane’s intricate world of werewolf culture and pack politics only gets better with each book. Her fans will love revisiting familiar characters and new readers will be hooked. The Warden family is so real that they jump off the page. Their teasing, bickering and overprotectiveness is endearing, but there’s plenty of heat as well. This story focuses on Tracy, who finds love with not one but two hot alphas. Their sexual encounters, whether as a couple or a threesome, are very erotic and tremendously arousing, and a glimpse of sexual interaction between the two alpha males is tantalizing. The secondary characters play important roles as well and fill in any back story. Readers will be panting for more.
Debbie at Gotta Write Network gives TRI MATES five quills and says in part: Tri Mates is a well crafted story that goes beyond your average were wolf read. Ms. Dane doesn’t just give you a glimpse at werewolves mating and changing from form to form. She gives you real issues that expand the story without detracting from the central love triangle that is forming. There is money laundering, jealousy, betrayal, and the fear of a werewolf mafia. While several of these could have detracted or even diminished the story Ms. Dane was able to mesh a well crafted gem that left this reader panting for more. I’m eager to see where the next story takes us and which of the several brilliant supporting characters will get the starring role.

She says in part: “TRI MATES has everything that I love about a book – werewolves, lots of sex, action, and two men to one female. HOT! I just loved this story. Tracy is a young woman not afraid of her sexuality. She has the nice girl appearance with the sex kitten appeal. Nick Lawrence is one sexy man and he was confident enough to know it without being arrogant. The sexual chemistry between Nick and Tracy was just plain hot. The friction between the Alphas from the Pacific clan against Tracy coming in as Nick’s mate and second was believable and fit with the plot. When Gabe volunteers to be Tracy’s anchor, I was a little disappointed because I was expecting a triad always and not just once. Ms. Dane is a master of her craft. The sex was so good between Gabe and Tracy that you felt their guilt and began to feel sorry for Nick. It isn’t until later when Tracy’s grandmother points out the Tri Mate bond that I lost the guilt and the triad became very real. All of the characters played a major part in the story and I couldn’t imagine any of them being left out. I am looking forward to how the series will end and can’t wait to read more about the Cascadia, Pacifica and National packs.”

The intrigue gives these books a whole new dimension. There were so many twists and turns in the plot that I never knew what was coming next. Nick is such a charming playboy that you can’t help but love. Gabe is a much quieter Alpha male, yet he is intriguing in ways Nick is not. Tracy is just a kick butt woman who loves to let her men have control in bed, but only in bed. She is funny, loyal, loving and forgiving. They make a fascinating set and you’re left wanting more of their story. I literally can’t decide if the next in the series should continue their story or move on to the next couple. Of course, I’m waiting impatiently for Cade’s story who is Alpha of Cascadia pack…. Lauren Dane is on my auto buy list and I can’t wait to see what happens next.”
