First things first!

The ARC winner for Day one is: Jessyka

The winner of their choice of digital or mass market formats of Lorelie Brown’s Catching the Wave is: Ruth

Please email me to let me know your format choice!

Today, because I’ve been working on the next Rowan book, I’m going to give away a copy of Goddess With a Blade (winner’s choice of digital or trade paper) and the follow up, Blade to the Keep (digital or trade paper)

Blade to the Keep

Canny and ferocious, with the power of an ancient Goddess in her belly, Rowan Summerwaite is the only person who can renegotiate the fragile Treaty between the Vampire Nation and the Hunter Corporation, the last line of defense for humanity. A meeting of this Joint Tribunal, as well as her new status as Liaison, sends Rowan straight to the last place on earth she wants to be, the childhood home she’d escaped so many years before–The First’s Keep.

Raised at the knee of The First–the oldest Vampire and leader of the Vampire Nation–honed into a weapon by the Hunter Corporation, wielding ancient knowledge from the Goddess within, Rowan must navigate bloodthirsty Vampires and Hunters alike. And she’s got to do it while managing a politically awkward but undeniably deepened romance with Scion Clive Stewart. Failure in her role as Liaison could mean all-out war, with humankind in the crosshairs. No pressure.

Walking the path between her two lives has already made Rowan a pariah. The choices she’ll have to make will mean she becomes something even more Other and as a result she may lose those last shreds of home she has left.

The Rowan books are a mix of urban fantasy and PNR that follow the main character, Rowan Summerwaite, who also happens to be a badasss who is the human vessel for the goddess Brigid. Rowan is prickly and defensive and wounded, but over the first two books and into the third (writing now) her relationship with Clive Stewart, the Vampire Scion of North America has grown and deepened.  These books are among my very favorite to write!

Do you have any series that straddle genre lines that you really love? I absolutely ADORE Stacia Kane’s Downside series, for instance – great alternate timeline with lots of amazing world building and characters that are broken and messed up and yet she makes me love each and every one, flaws and all. Eileen Wilks’ Lupi books are also similar for me, along with Patricia Briggs’ Mercy series.  I’ll post the winner of this contest on July 5! Good luck.

I’m a big fan of Lynn Viehl’s Darkyn & Kyndred series, vampire pnr and urban syfy all in one. And Stephanie Laurens Cynster novels cross the historial / erotica lines nicely!

I like Sherilynn Kenyon dark hunters And Chronicles of Nick series. I have no problem with my kids picking up Chronicles but not Dark Hunters as they wouldn’t understand them.

Thanks so much. Sent you an email with my information. I can’t think of any books off the top of my head but I like to read a little bit of everything.

I’m not a huge Urban Fantasy reader. I like my romance HEA in each book. That being said I love Thea Harrison’s Elder Races and Jenna Black’s older series. I think Jaime Rush’s Other’s Series qualified as UF and that one was good. Thanks for the giveaways!

The list is huge, but Patricia Briggs’ Mercy series, Eileen Wilks’ Lupi series, Chloe Neill’s Chicagoland and C.E. Murphy’s Walker Papers are some of my top faves.
