Tuesday Type Blather and Junk

After the last several months, I’m now catching up on a thousand things. My burgeoning email backlog – this made worse by the fact that our old desktop got a virus and it fried all my outlook files, my folders and my calendar – so I’m not ignoring you, I just may have lost your email forever. Sigh.

Working on proposals this week. Finished Once Bitten – Nathan Murphy’s book and sent it to my editor so I hope she likes it. Today I should wrap up As Is – Adrian’s book and then move to the proposal for Captivated, the last Phantom Corps book and then I need to work on Gibson’s book proposal (need a title, but I have it loosely plotted).

And then it’s back to work on books – my holiday novella with Carina, Believe – which will follow October’s Second Chances is up first and then I’m at work on Goddess With a Blade. (and then the first Bound By Magic book after that)

So lots to do! But the lovely thing is that several of these projects are books I’ve loved and wanted to write for years and they finally get their day. It makes the process special and I am thrilled to get to write them at long last.

I’ve got some stuff ruminating around that I’ll be commenting on in some Writerly posts – I’ve got a request to talk about the proposal process from the perspective of someone who’s been published a while and I also want to talk about promotion and social networking.

But for now, I’ve got to finish this proposal so I’m off again. Come back tomorrow when Elisabeth Naughton will be my guest here at the blog!

All the books sound great. Can’t wait to read them all. Only bad part is the waiting.
