Today’s prize is a copy of Undercover and a Dane/Hart tee shirt!

On the battleground or in the bedroom, one woman and two men fight for dominance in a bold, new, and excitingly different direction in erotica…

As a lieutenant of the Federation military, Sera Ayers is accustomed to giving orders, not taking them. Now she must obey the one man she can’t stand—and can’t stop thinking about.

With the enemy Imperialists gaining ground, a covert team is assembled by Ash Walker. Ten years before, Sera had lovingly submitted to Ash’s dominance in the bedroom. But when he was forced into a political marriage, she refused to play mistress. His marriage now over, Ash wants Sera on his team—and back in his bed.

The third team member, Brandt Pela, has an elegance to match Ash’s savage sexuality. And when their undercover plan requires Sera to pose as Brandt’s lover, it ignites a passion among the three of them more dangerous than their mission.

I haven’t read a lot of futuristic novels. I think I am a little wary to read them. The only ones that come to mind is the In Death Series by JD Robb/Nora Roberts. I love them muchly though.

I do enjoy futuristic romances–Johanna Lindsey’s Warrior Woman was one of the first I’d read and is still a favorite.

Love futuristic romance – Michelle Maddox’s Countdown immediately springs to mind as my favourite 😀 And Anya Bast’s The Chosen Sin was pretty good. Also rather enjoyed Eve Kenin’s Hidden and Michelle Lang’s Netherwood…Plus I’m very much looking forward to reading your Federation series, of course 😛

I read little futuristic. I’m not sure why. Maybe the story blurbs just haven’t been interesting enough. The ones I have read I’ve likes.

I love futuristic romance books. Kaitlyn O’Connor is one of my favorite authors when it comes to that genre.

How futuristic does the series have to be? I love the Changeling series which is featured in the future.

    Hi Lauren,

I love Futuristic Romance. The previously mentioned Trilogy by Johanna Lindsey is very good.

Anything by Angela Knight, but her Warlord stuff is to die for. Strong Alpha males and a sense of humor in all the right places.

In Heat and Desert Heat by Leigh Wyndfield.

I am so looking forward to getting one of yours to try. You excerpts are always so hot.
The Chase men, To Do List and The Cascadia series is in my TBR pile.

So much good stuff, I can’t wait.

I already have — and love — this book, so no need to enter me in the contest, so clearly I like futuristic romance 😉 I haven’t been able to splurge on Relentless yet, but I am looking forward to it. I think the important thing is the connection between the characters and the plot — if the setting furthers that, great. If not, well, then not. Some people can get too caught up on the technical details of the world-building and that is not as fun to read.

    Thanks! 😉

No need to put me in the drawing for this book – but I just wanted to say that whoever wins it will enjoy it!

I actually do not like futuristic books. Or romances, or sci-fi. Although, I do like your Federation books. And I’m pretty comfortable saying yours are the only ones I read in the genre. Well played, Ms. Dane – well played. 😉

I have read a few. I sometimes get so confused that it is hard for me to follow. I do like Angela Knight. I am not opposed at all, sometimes I think that I pick up a book in a series, and that is where I have a hard time, because I can’t figure out exactly what is going on. But I will read just about anything 🙂

    Thanks!

Don’t have a favorite, but am a little hesitant to try because there’s a delicate balance between plotting out the story to make it understandable and the romance, but if it’s written well and seems interesting, I’ll certainly give any author a try!

I love furturistics – there are so many good one out there that it is difficult to pick a favourite though.

I love Johanna Lindsay’s Warrrior Woman and Anglea Knight’s Warlord series but I have to go with Susan Grant’s Star Prince as my favourite futuristic of all time 😀

love futuristic romances. Yours are some of the best I’ve read Some of the others i like would be Judy Mays Celestial Seasons and SL Viehl’s stardoc those both of those I’di say were more scifi than futuristic. I love Shiloh Walker’s though the Mist. It a great read. And of course Johanna Lindsey warrior woman series all three of them are the best.

Today’s Question: What do you think of futuristic romance? Do you have any favorites? Hesitant to try?

I never heard the term futuristic romance before today. I think they might be a good read, however, I don’t care for traditional ladies romance novels at all. No favorites, and yes I would read a FR novel. (:
Funny how I found something new while entering contests today!

Haven’t read any yet. Wasn’t sure if I would like them. Would be willing to try and read one. I am finding out I like a lot of differant types of books. Told my son I won’t like the Twilight ones cause I never liked vampire anything. Watched the movie and went and bought all the books. LOL. Then tried a Charlaine Harris one. So you never know. As long as it’s a good book sure don’t think it matters. 😀
