Today’s books are Lisa Renee Jones’ Blaze title – Hard and Fast and her first Nocturne title – The Beast Within!

The Beast Within – Book one in the Knights of White series…

Only passion can soothe the beast within… Known only as Jag, he leads the Knights of White against the soulless Darkland Beasts who took his wife and his life. Jag is immortal, destined to live with the vengeance he feels in his heart and the dreams that haunt his soul. Sensual dreams of a woman. Dreams that threaten to unleash the beast within…

Karen Gibson is an innocent mortal, unwittingly thrown into this millennia-old battle, and — unwillingly — under Jag’s protection. She and Jag are about to discover that they have met before — in the dreams they share. Neither trusts the other. Neither can survive alone. The secret of those erotic dreams may be all that saves them — if Jag can only accept it. At risk is Karen’s life. And Jag’s immortal soul…

Hard and Fast

For Amanda Wright–new reporter on the pro baseball block–this rule is harder to keep than she had thought. Especially with the team’s star pitcher, gorgeous Brad Rogers, sending signals her libido can’t possibly miss. How can she indulge her craving for Brad and still prove she can play with the big-league journalists?

From their first illicit kiss, their private ball games lead to delicious pleasure. Then she discovers Brad is hiding a big secret that could make her career–or blow his. And suddenly she has to choose: the best story of her life… or the best sex!

Both books are excellent and LRJ is a really fabulous author!

YOUR QUESTION: What song never fails to make you think of your most romantic moment?

I’ll choose a winner at noon tomorrow! Good luck!

    Hi Lauren:

Um, I would have to say “Sara” by Fleetwood Mac. There is just something about her throaty melodic voice and that song that bring back long ago memories for me.

Thanks and Have a Great Weekend 😀

Hm….wow….well..I don’t know. Honestly, I can’t think of a song that evokes memories for me. I don’t really have an attachment to music. Now, if we were talking smells….. 🙂 My hubby’s cologne. Love it.
    Anyways….

This is easy. It may sound cheesy, but the song is ‘Only hope’ by Mandy from the movie ‘A walk to remember’ The song she sings on the stage.

I had asked my boyfriend to get a lot of romantic and chick lit movies when he was on a visit to Indonesia (they are really cheap there). He had no idea what to get me as most guys wouldn’t. So I gave him pointers.

He bought the movie and watched it just because he was getting bored and had nothing to do. He called me up later saying he actually cried a little while watching the movie and was very embarrassed about it. He said ‘Only hope’ song was his new fav 🙂

When he came back to India, we watched the movie together and he hated it then. He said it was very girly and he didn’t know what he liked in it. I still tease him with that song.

But for me the song represents our first romantic moment. When we had not truly confessed our love for each other and I felt really close to him while talking abt the movie and the song on the phone then 🙂

    Funny, eh?

    Thanks…

There are actually 2 songs that make me think of my husband. First song is Angel Eyes by Jeff Healy ( he sings this song to me all the time and has for almost 12 years). Then there is our wedding song I Dont Want to Close My eyes.

Hubby and I don’t really have a song….but from way back,(Back in the day as the kids put it) I had a HUGE summer crush on a boy I only saw during summer vaca’s.

I still secretly think of him when I hear the song.

    Lionel Ritchies “Stuck on you”

Both of these songs are our love songs, but they couldn’t be more different.
Secret World by Peter Gabriel and Down Together by the Refreshments. You just gotta love a song that blows off Shakespeare by saying “that’s ok, he’s dead anyway.”

Would you believe that Mr. JP and I don’t have a song?

There is one song that evokes bittersweet memories of an old romance, and that’s “Thank You” by Led Zeppelin. The guy in question and I are still very good friends, but when I hear that song, I think of what came before we were friends.

Very easy, I don’t even have to think about it.
    Thank you by Led Zepplin

We danced our first dance at our wedding to this. We even had some of the words printed on our invitations.

“If the sun refused to shine, I would still be loving you. When mountains crumble to the sea, there will still be you and me”

That says it all to me. 😉

I guess we don’t really have “a song.” But if I were to pick one that makes me tink of him every time, it would be “(Everything I Do) I Do It For You” by Bryan Adams.

Beautiful song by John that never plays on the radio. My husband and I both love it.

Yes, this is cheesy…but Can’t Fight This Feeling by REO Speedwagon always makes me think of my husband. We really don’t have a “song”, but that one does make me think of him.

Again, just adding my thoughts as I know that I am late.
