I so understand about that “alone” time! My little Diva is 5 and goes to K for 4 hours a day and as much as I say I’m going to head back to bed after I drop off all the girls at school, I always end up doing errands or something else that takes up 3 of the 4 hours. ROFL I can’t wait until she goes full days starting in January.
When my fourth was in kindergarten I mentioned to someone that the high point of my week was going grocery shopping alone! My reply to the strange look I received was that it had been 13 years…
