Wanna Win?

I’ve got a PDF copy of Vengeance Due here (my dead hard drive ate the author copies in other formats and I’m not at home to beg Martha to send me other ones).

So I’m going to choose a winner from the commenters to this entry between now (July 29 to Monday July 31 at noon pacific/3 eastern)

Let’s see- to make it interesting – do you like paranormals? If so why and do you have a favorite? If not, what genre is your fave?

Oddly enough, when I started reading romance (in junior high) I never wanted to read anything but contemporary. Over time, I got to where I’d only read a book if there was a paranormal element.
Now, by far, paranormals are my fave — though I’ll read anything but time travel. I think I choose paranormals because there’s a spark of “what if” and “just maybe.” It doesn’t hurt that the paranormals I choose include kick a$$ women. lol

I like to read paranormals for the interesting worlds created and the dark, strong heroes. I read all genres and like to mix them in so I don’t get bored. My most recent favorite was Dark Lover by J.R Ward. I’m a big fan of contemporary, historical and romantic suspense, too.

I love paranormals. They provide the opportunity to escape pressures from work and home. I can not tell you how this has saved my sanity on many nights. 🙂

My favorite parnormal would be Christine Feehans “Dark Prince”.
On my really bad days I always go back to this one. This is what I call my comfort book. I have a nice little pile that I can read again and again. I just added “A Touch of Fae” to this pile which includes “Triad”. I can not wait to read “Vengeance Due”. I love this family of strong women. Which leads me to my least favorite thing in novels…Whimpy Heroines! Save me from the women who simper and wait to be saved…ARGH! Give me a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it..or him as the case may be. Thanks Lauren for the great stories you provide and ahem…can you write any faster?

I love paranormal romance because it is so unusual. The stories are not the same old predictable stuff that you see out in the market too many times. Hard to choose one favorite. I do love Christine Feehan’s Game series. She hooked me to paranormal.

While I read all kinds of books, paranormals with strong female and male hero’s and heroines. How interesting to be able to picture in our minds the unending possibilities.. Blessings that can be a curse; that no matter the conflict is Love, Trust and Faith that gets them through their challenges. The journey being their gift.

Oh, I missed the deadline :o( Oh well, I write paranormals but don’t read them much. How weird is that? I’m mostly a fantasy, general literature reader.
