So my not yet two year old is counting and I’m all, “wow! You’re so smart!” and she comes into the room five minutes later with her shirt off and a basket on her head, chewing on a crayon. Genius.

I’m polishing my proposal for Goddess With A Blade with the help of some most excellent critters and beta readers. This story has been with me since March when I went to Las Vegas. It’s something different for me – not so much erotic romance as speculative fiction with hot sex and a romantic sub plot. And Vampires who juggle fire sticks. And various other stuff you only see in Vegas, LOL.

I still hate writing synopses, but I’m getting better.

And then back to my Vengeance Due edits. I’ve missed the Charvez witches. And Con. Who is in the story a lot.

That’s about it. I’ve got propsals and synopses and edits dancing in my head. It’s like a track changes nightmare in there right now. I think I deserve Thai food. And cupcakes. Maybe I’ll eat Thai food and cupcakes while drinking beer and watching the Matrix! I’m easy.

Thai, cupcakes and the Matrix? I’m so there! Okay, actually I have another 2K to get out tonight so I’ll be here munching cookies. *g* You are rocking, Lauren! Keep it up!

Lauren, Kids are fun that way…my 3-year-old granddaughter has watched Dora the Explorer so much that she can count to 20 in Spanish, as well as English. Paige has been using the potty since she was 1 1/2, now she is asking to wear pull-ups, so she can play outside longer, without a potty break! What a hoot! BTW I read A Touch of Fae tonight and love Con!!! Whew! I can’t wait for the next story about these witches. AND, How about Jayce, hum? And Charlene, I loved Catalyst! Keep up the great writing ladies!

Charli, it’s a crime that we live so close and have yet to get together!

She’s got two older brothers to compete with, Kathy! She’ll out count em and climb and run and jump cause they do, LOL. I would be thrilled if she potty trained soon. I am DONE with diapers!

And yay that you liked Touch of Fae! Vengeance Due is in my laptop in the middle of edits right now so I hope to see it release in mid summer. I’m also about 20K words into Threat Of Darkness, which is Jayce’s book. It’s coming! I promise.

    Lauren,
I am looking forward to the new stories. I wrote the names down in my book of upcoming releases. (My husband hates this notebook, it has all of my favorite authors’ soon to be released books, and the month the book will be released. It is the only way I can remember them.) My kids gift me gift cards to Barnes and Nobles and Amazon.com for mother’s day, birthdays and Christmas, thank goodness!!!
My daughter did everything earlier than her older brother, because she wanted to be BIG like him,(He is older by 2 1/2 years) now my granddaughter is doing the same with her older brother who is seven to her three. She complains about being too little and asks “when will I be as big as Parker, Nanny?” gotta love’em!

I just had thai food today, too! I spoiled myself though to celebrate! Mmm cashew chicken. Then I had one of my daughter’s cookies.

I have a 2 1/2 year old and she’s been walking around with her bucket on her head. Hee hee.

    Kathy, thank you!

Shelli – congratulations, today is a big day! No matter how many other books you’ll publish, you’ll never forget the first one’s release day.
