New Year – A Title At Last

It’s official – I now have a title for the latest Witches Knot book which was Dark Justice but I had to change it given the prolific nature of the word “Dark” in titles.

The title is……..drumroll….. Vengeance Due. It wasn’t my top choice but all of those had no no words too, sigh. But I like it, it’s descriptive of the struggle Kael feels between his need for vengenace and justice and also his need to not let it be an all encompassing thing either.

Back to your regularly scheduled New Year’s Day programming!

Lauren – I seem to have dreadful problems with titles. I’ve been told they’re not romantic enough. I’ve found if you get to the stage where you’re asked for a list, the chances are you’ll end up with something else entirely!!

Last month I had to think up a variation of the title I had chosen (wolf is overused) and my other one wasn’t suitable for a romance. Still, the excitement of the sale usually takes away the sting 🙂

Shelley, I do loooove that cover!

I’ve done this title thing twice now, once over the series title for Witches Knot and now for Vengeance Due. They wanted more romantic but I tend to emphasize more action or fantasy elements. I did give them one romantic title but apparently the word I used in it was overused too, LOL
