Hey folks! I’m going to be starting a monthly newsletter, Vixenwriter: Words Have Power. The first issue should be out in about a month.

This inaugural issue will be half bdsm themed half paranormal themed – in honor of the release of Second Chances from Loose Id and A Touch of Fae from Ellora’s Cave – both should be out in September or early October.

I’ll be having a contes for ARCs of both books and some other goodies as well as an interview with Tony Comstock of Comstock Films (excellent short movies that are extraordinary, they are real couples who are really in love and the sex is amazing. Not like traditional yucky porn – these movies are fabulous). I’ll also have some exclusive excerpts from upcoming releases.

So head on over to Vixenwriter and sign up today!

    Dear Lauren,

Thank you so much for your kind words about our work. I began making these films because I found the sexually explicit videos that were available offputting or boring or both, but I simply refused to believe that two things as wondeful as sex and movies couldn’t be combined in a way that was entertaining and arousing, and respectful of the audience’s intellect and investment of time. After all, writers have been making great sexually explicit literature since people first started putting pen to paper. Why not hot and wholesome sex films too?

I am very excited at the prospect of introducing my work to an audience who must be wondering “Where are the sex films for me?” or “Why can’t someone make a sex film as fun to watch as a Lauren Dane novel is to read?” and perhaps has given up on the idea that it will ever, or even can ever happen.

It can happpen and it is happening. Comstock Films is making sexually explicit films that are as respectful of film and our audience as your work is of writing and your readers. I can’t promise that every title will appeal to every person (we all have our personal tastes), but I’m confindent we have a little something for everyone. Each film made with the same love, care, and passion that we’d lavish upon a cherished lover.

    Thanks again!

Well, as much as I gush about your movies, it’s been a pleasure to send people your way. I honestly can’t say enough positive things about Comstock Films.
