Sandra Brown did a book with a priest as a hero.
I, too, love the strong heroine who doesn’t at first understand why the hero is all over her. *G* BJ James wrote a Desire years ago…TEARS OF THE ROSE.
Ginna Gray wrote a Silhouette Romance years ago also…THE COURTSHIP OF DANI…the heroine was super smart but men never gave her the time of day because they thought she was just a “brain” and then here comes the hero and he wants her and she’s just mystified with all the attention he’s giving her. One of my favorite books!
Gah…can’t hold back the rec since you guys mentioned love for the warrior-hero trope! New book next Wednesday (8/27) from Sierra Dafoe: Immortal Lust. He’s a Templar knight and she’s a daughter of Aphrodite.
BTW, catching up on on all the videos, and I really love listening to the two of you talk about the meta stuff of writing
