Hello, my lovelies!

This October 21, I’ll be hosting a table at the Buns and Roses Romance Tea for Literacy in Richardson, Texas. Tickets for this awesome event go on sale, tomorrow, June 1, 2018. Thirty different authors will be attending and hosting tables and if you want to see a list – head on over to the Buns and Roses site for info. There’s also a VIP reception the evening before that’s ticketed and you can add that to your registration if you so choose.

I’m already putting together the gift bags for my tablemates – this is so fun for me and I hope it will be for you too.

All ticket purchases include: meet and greet with the authors, free self-parking in the hotel parking lot, complimentary book, gift from your host author, autograph keepsake and private book signing. All seating is reserved. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Tickets are non-refundable but may be transferred to another person.

The proceeds from this event go the the Richardson Adult Literacy Center so your fun day actually helps other people do what we all love so much – read!

Want a ticket? Bunsandroses.org has all the details and info you’ll need! Hope to see you in October.

The hilarity of editing

So I’m currently slogging through the first major edit of Triad, which is intricate work but I’m really fortunate to have a great editor who makes good suggestions. One thing that keeps making me laugh though, are notations like “do … Read More »

Slogging along. I hate editing, I hate it with the heat of ten thousand white hot suns. But not as much as I hate say, washing dishes or doing laundry so I’m trying to keep it in context.

Rereading through … Read More »

Words

It’s always a challenge to figure out what words to use when describing genetialia. In the last few years “cunt” has made a comeback but I still find myself hesitant to use it, loads of baggage there, it hasn’t been … Read More »

So I’ve been working on a short story/novella and I realized yesterday that I can’t let the characters go in ten thousand words, they need more. So, I put them aside and started something else that I plan to submit. … Read More »
