Gregori and Wren are back with another installment of their story, picking up several years after the end of Cake!

A Cake sequel – THIS IS NOT A STANDALONE STORY

An impromptu road trip makes for the honeymoon Gregori and Wren didn’t know they wanted

Bad-boy artist Gregori Ivanov wants nothing more than to marry Wren Davis. He’s asked her before—more than once—but she insisted on waiting until she’d established her own career. Now that the time is finally right, Gregori has one hell of a celebration in mind. Restaurants, museums and NYC luxury all the way…on top of all the newlywed sex they’ll be having.

The universe, unfortunately, did not get the message. When their plane is grounded in Idaho, they’re forced to improvise a road trip to get back to Seattle instead of the romantic getaway Gregori painstakingly planned. But that they’re together is what’s important, and with giant roadside potato museums, funky galleries in towns with little more than two stoplights and some seriously great diner food—in between all the great sex—Gregori and Wren find a honeymoon as unique and memorable as their love.

A wedding day should be one you remember fondly, but for Rowan Summerwaite, the fond memories are swept aside by the brutal murder of one of her dearest friends. She heads back to Las Vegas to track down those responsible for the death and finds there’s so much more than a killing. A multi layered conspiracy involving multiple groups of paranormals begins to show itself and Rowan is on the hunt with her wrath burning from within like holy fire.

My favorite girlfriend, the muse

So I’m writing a contemporary story, one of second chances and suddenly it veers off and becomes a story about polyamory.

I love writing about poly as much as I love writing about BDSM. They both come with a wealth … Read More »

I find these little things to be more complicated sometimes than the … Read More »

YIPPEE!!

This morning I climbed out of my warm bed and fought the freezing cold that resulted in icy roads and dozens of accidents in my neck of the woods. The kids were bickering and the baby was cranky. My knee … Read More »

Back to my word fetish

Today let’s talk about the words “cum” and “come”

I really dislike the way the word “cum” looks on the page or screen. It looks tacky to me. There are other words – seed, semen, jism, spunk, sperm – but … Read More »

Ah Rejection…

So my novella wasn’t chosen for the Cavemen anthologies for this year. Well, I think I’d be more depressed if the list they did chose weren’t all such very good writers. And I really didn’t have a lot of time … Read More »

The hilarity of editing

So I’m currently slogging through the first major edit of Triad, which is intricate work but I’m really fortunate to have a great editor who makes good suggestions. One thing that keeps making me laugh though, are notations like “do … Read More »

Slogging along. I hate editing, I hate it with the heat of ten thousand white hot suns. But not as much as I hate say, washing dishes or doing laundry so I’m trying to keep it in context.

Rereading through … Read More »
