The Darkest Touch!

It’s finally out!! Go and grab it if you haven’t already…

Blurb: Ryder. The man was just as sexy as she remembered him:

tall, lean, and dangerous, a demon hunter with the body of a god.…

But archaeologist Angelique Deveraux has little time for lust. She’s been hiding a gleaming black diamond, a prize everyone wants—including Ryder—and now she’s running for her life. Hot on her trail is Ryder, a legendary demon hunter she desires but can’t quite trust, a man with an insatiable need for danger and a few dark secrets of his own.

As sparks ignite between the rogue hunter and his latest prey, Angie’s world is rocked again when her twin sister vanishes, stolen away by the same dark forces stalking Angie and the black diamond. With Ryder offering protection—and more—suddenly a woman who’s never trusted anyone is falling for a man who isn’t afraid of anything…except losing his heart. Now, as an all-out demon war erupts and Angie’s family secrets unravel, Ryder’s demon hunt and Angie’s quest to save her sister are about to collide. And when they do, it’ll send these two wary hearts on the wildest adventure of their lives—and maybe even save humankind in the process.…

Can you say, guh! I love Jaci’s demon hunter books - this is shipping to me now!!

Tuesday Goodness!

Let’s see: All sorts of upcoming titles are either available or up at Amazon for preorder!

For those folks who’ve been waiting for the first of my Cascadia Wolves books to come out in paper - Cascadia Wolves: Enforcer is now available in trade paperback directly from Ellora’s Cave. I’m told it will be sold exclusively from EC for a month or so before it’s made available to other outlets for sale.

And to address the questions before I get them, LOL - nope, I have no idea when Tri Mates will go to print. I’m hoping soon but we don’t have any idea of when EC books will be in print until we get the email telling us the books are available. They do quarterly print book lists but I haven’t seen the next one yet. I’m hoping soon and I’ll most definitely let you all know when I do.

Speaking of Cascadia Wolves…. books three and four - Wolf Unbound and Standoff are up for pre-order at Amazon!

In more pre-order news - Relentless, the next berkley heat book after Undercover, is also up for pre-order at Amazon! There’s no blurb up yet so here it is:

In this erotic universe, passion knows no rank

Since the first settlers came through the portals from Earth, fifteen Families have held the rule of the Federated Universes in their hands. There’s never been a better time than now to throw out the old and usher in a new order. Give voice to the unranked. Abbie Haws has spent her life battling the system. A fighter, she’s always been too busy and driven to pay much attention to finding love. But when she’s granted audience with Roman Lyons, the head of House Lyons, who stands for everything she hates, her instant attraction catches Abbie off-guard…

It’s common knowledge that the Known Universe revolves around Ravena—and that Ravena revolves around Roman Lyons, bred to lead since birth. Roman dreads his meeting with a defiant—if stunning—rabble-rouser. But, sometimes, headstrong personalities in the conference room make for hot-and-heavy, guilty trysts in private….

Now, Abbie will show Roman the parts of her world he wouldn’t otherwise get to see. And he’ll give her a glimpse of the Families’ age old tradition and unleash a sexuality he’d never given rein to before.

In more fun news - Megan and I and our little blog that could BRRRRING ME MY HOOOOOOKAH! is up at iTunes! You can subscribe to our podcasts to your iPhone or iPod if you so desire.

Titilating Tuesday

I’ve put up an excerpt of Undercover over at my messageboard if you’d like to check it out! I’m also headed over to Livejournal to put it there as well.

Megan and I have been doing some planning for some fun stuff for RT and Taking Care of Business and the American release (it’s already available in the UK!).

This last weekend I was at the Emerald City RWA conference and had a great time! It was an absolute blast to hang out with Angela James, my most wonderful Samhain editor and also Leis Pederson, my Berkley editor who I hadn’t met face to face before but she’s totally wonderful. Had dinner with some Samhain authors, Angie, Leis, Richelle Mead and Mark Henry on Saturday night after the booksigning. Enjoyed some lemon drops, a few beers, some coffee and various and assorted conference meals as well as lots of laughing. The book signing was very well attended and even though I had so many books I needed to sit on a phone book to see over them, I did manage to sell a few and meet some fabulous folks (always my favorite part of signings).

I huge thank you to the conference planning committee and all the volunteers! This was my second year attending and I think it ran amazingly smoothly and it was overwhelmingly friendly to all the attendees. Shelli Stevens, the chapter president is a truly wonderful leader and I appreaciate her work and leadership so much!

I’m working on finishing up some proposals and the last pass through of Sweet Charity (which I did last night only to lose the document when Vista just shut down for no apparent reason, sigh)

That’s my Tuesday so far. Hope everyone is having a good one!!

I’m Off to Emerald City And Money…

Megan and I are discussing money and writing over at Danehart.com - the subject came up over at the Bradford Bunch and we thought it was a good topic for a discussion. Come over and chime in.

I’m going to be at the Emerald City Conference this weekend so I won’t be around much (although I will have my laptop because I am a junkie). Everyone behave yourselves!

On Monday I’m going to announce the contest I’ll be running all November long to celebrate Undercover!!!
