Good News!

Just a quick break from writing to announce that I’ve sold RIGHTEOUS BLADE to Samhain for release in September of 2010. Righteous Blade is urban fantasy/paranormal romance and in a totally new world. I’m beyond thrilled! More about the book soon…

And I also received news from my editor that RELENTLESS is a national bestseller! It’s been on the BGI and Barnes and Noble lists for a few weeks now. So thank you all who’ve picked it up!

Back to work for me!

New Contract, Tracklist, Etc!

Firstly, I learned yesterday in the wake of my gorgeous cover news that I’d contracted the follow up to Laid Bare to Berkley Heat for a January 2010 release! I don’t have a title for it as of yet, but it’ll feature Erin’s oldest brother Brody, the guy who did all the inkwork on her!

And because I haven’t talked music in a few days…

This is my Stripclub Tracklist for No Reservations. There are two major scenes in the book that take place in a strip club in the book. This is what I listen to when I write them.

Here’s a tiny snippet: One of his hands slid up her belly and she opened her eyes and tipped her head forward to look. So much desire there, raw, on the surface. It snagged her, caught her breath and pulled a gasp from low in her gut.

Monday! I’m Over at The Bradford Bunch

With an Excerpt of Undercover and this fabulous news!

Undercover is an RT Top Pick For December! Thanks to Jaci who congratulated me in an email. I haven’t received my magazine yet and the website isn’t updated. And thanks to Jaci who sent me the review as well!

Dane has written a sizzling, delicious tale of love lost, found and expanded. The M/F/M triad is as endearing as it is molten hot. The friction between Sera and Ash as they resolve their past is intense, and with Brandt added to the mix, it’s nothing short of explosive. An adrenaline-filled, suspenseful subplot keeps the reader engaged.

FREEEE BOOOOK!

Got your attention? Well, if you own a Kindle reader and you’ve never read my books or you’ve wanted to try my Chase series and haven’t yet – here’s your chance to try me out for the grand total of FREEEEE! Giving Chase is the first in my Chase Brothers series – contemporary small town romance from Samhain.

Yes that’s right – from August 4 to 10th, readers can get a copy of GIVING CHASE for the kindle reader absolutely free at Amazon! Click the cover or the sentence above to go straight to the Amazon Kindle page.

Blurb: Some small towns grow really good looking men! This is the case with the four Chase brothers. The home grown hotties are on the wishlist of every single woman in town and Maggie Wright is no exception.

Maggie has finally had it with the men she’s been dating but a spilled plate of chili cheese fries drops Shane Chase right into her lap. The sheriff is hot stuff but was burned by a former fiance and is quite happy to play the field.

After Shane’s skittishness sends him out the door, Maggie realizes that Kyle Chase has had his eye on her from the start. Now that Shane has messed up, Kyle has no intention of letting anything stop him from wooing her right into his bed.

Despite Maggie’s happiness and growing love with Kyle, a dark shadow threatens everything. She’s got a stalker and he’s not happy at all. In the end, Maggie will need her wits, strength and the love of her man to get her out alive.

Warning, this title contains the following: explicit sex, graphic language, and some violent situations.

I hope those of you who grab it let me know if you like it!

If I May Squee A Bit?

First of all, I finished Relentless this morning! Yay! I’ll start editing it tomorrow. I’m super happy with it right now. We’ll see how I am once I do the entire read through though. Each book is like a mini lifetime. This book gave me some fits but I think it turned out really well and I’m beginning to realize sometimes it’s the hardest books to write that I end up liking the most.

And secondly, Megan Hart and I sold the follow up to Taking Care of Business to Black Lace! This one is called No Reservations and it follows Leah and Kate to Las Vegas with Brandon and Dix on their heels. It’ll be out in the UK in September of 09 and the US in November of 09.

Fated Cover

I am loving this cover! It creates a nice new set of stories, keeping it part of the overall universe but separating it from the last story arc.

The swag I ordered for RT arrived and it’s so super awesome! This is something just for the folks attending our reader party on Friday and for some of the baskets I’m doing. They turned out so well, I’m totally thrilled…
