All Sorts of Questions Answered!

2015

I’ve spoken about some of the problems I’ve had with my schedule due to some chronic health issues. Though my health is mainly stabilized, my schedule is still so messed up as each deadline crashed into the next and left me drowning and having more health problems, making me even later.  I appreciate, more than I can express, all the support and kindness I’ve been shown as I’ve been wobbling through this mess. I apologize to my readers for the delays and thank you for your patience!

SO – I know you’ve been asking me several questions over the last year or eighteen months and I can answer some of them at this point! This is a partial view of my schedule from now through 2016. I do have some other things to add as we go along –

Goddess With a Blade book four, AT BLADE’S EDGE had to be shifted from October to December 14.

I have a new PNR series, Diablo Lake, coming out from Carina that was supposed to start in December – but, we swapped it out for another project, though I’ll still be writing the Diablo Lake books, just later on in 2016.

In February 2016, Cherchez Pack: Ascension will be releasing with Carina Press

In March 2016, Cherchez Pack: Fire and Rain will be releasing with Carina Press

Ascension and Fire and Rain are the first two books in a series I had to step away from for a while. I’m so thrilled that I can once again step back into the world of these characters and finally be able to say, “yes” when I get asked if there’ll be more of them.

But wait! There’s more!!

Diablo Lake: Moonstruck releases from Carina Press May 2016

Diablo Lake: Possessed releases from Carina Press September 2016

More about Diablo Lake very soon!

December of 2016 I’ll have a novella coming out with the Riptide holiday charity bundle and I’m so thrilled to be part of it! I have a few ideas, some include familiar faces… More about that later on as well.

There are other projects in the works – more about all that when I can share details.

I would much rather wait for a new book while you take care of getting yourself healthy again than having it now and knowing you made yourself sicker just so I could have a new book to read. Talk about major guilt trip messing up good reading mojo lol. PLEASE, take care of you FIRST. THAT is the MOST important thing. If we never get another new book because your health doesn’t allow it I will still be a most devoted fan. I will, and I’m sure all your fans will patiently await new releases while you take care of you. Take care & God Bless. (>??)?

I agree with Patsy Kennard, Lauren, Take care of your health and family first, while we love your books, we can wait. So take care!

    Lauren,

I am a huge fan of yours and have been so for many years now. I loved that every time I wrote to you,
I would receive a reply from you. I was worried that
you never wrote back. Now that you are posting more on your condition, I just wanted you to know that all
your fans sincerely hope that you get well soon. Those of us who love you and your writing will sit here and wait. If I am forced to re-read the Brown Family and Hurley Bros. series over and over again, I will. Just please take care of yourself so that you can continue doing what we all love. God bless!

“More about that later”, my least favorite phrase. 🙂

I’ve been thinking about you and hoping for a speedy – and complete – recovery. I’m ridiculously excited about all the upcoming books (NEW PNR!?!? Be still my heart!), but even more, I’m so glad to hear you’re feeling better.

    xoxo
