    Hi, Lauren!

I love The Browns! And I`m going to start with Chase Brothers.

I`m reading a lot of contemporary romance. There are a serie by Shannon Stacey – Kowalski Family – that is wonderful. So far there are three books.

    Thanks!

Hey there…ok…genre… NOT Paranormal… I like Romantic Suspense the best probably… I ♥ ménage romances. Question…why in the world are people so crazy about the supernatural for these last years??? i do like a nice vampire romance or some werewolves but i dont have to have them in EVERY book…
I’d like to see more Navy SEALs in a cute ménage Romantic Suspense 🙂
Recs…hm…millions i guess..i love Opal Carews books. The Lora Leigh SEAL/Black Ops series. oh…can’t say anymore..i love a lot. Plus i really love the brown sibs…just finished the second one a while ago..now i’m waiting untill somebody decides to give me some more books for christmas…or any day actually..simply because I’m such a cute nice lovely perso 🙂 LOL
have a wonderful day everyone 😛

I just finished reading Second Chance At The Sugar Shack by Candis Terry…..very cute book!! 🙂 I also just finished Susan Andersen’s latest release Playing Dirty and then I had to go back and start re-reading her other books! I’ve been on a contemporary romance kick for a while now! 🙂

I have been reading a lot of books with Zombies lately. There have been several interesting and unique takes on them out in recent months. I particularly enjoyed Lust After Death by Daisy Harris, an erotic romance which is a ‘zombie marriage of convenience story’ (quoting the author there) that also has an assassin. 🙂

I cannot wait for the last Brown Siblings book and was so excited to find out you will be doing a spin-off series as well!

On what am hooked right now? I’m sure textbooks don’t count so…. I’m on a Megan Hart reading marathon after going batshit crazy on smashwords. Would recommend them all- so many great short reads. *g*

Prefer contemporary or scifi romance right now. I’m a bit burned out on shifters and vamps.

One of my best reads in the last few months was Olivia Cunnings Sinners on Tour series. Really hot! *fans herself*

    Thanks for the chance! 🙂

At the moment, I’m hooked on Romantic Suspense. I’ve always been a fan of Romance, but I started reading Cindy Gerards BOI series and I started to read everything I could get hold of. The genre that I would like to see more of is steampunk. I have only read a few books, but have really enjoyed them.

    Thanks for the opportunity!:)

    1) Erotic/Sensual/Shifter romance(kind of covers all bases).
Yesterday I finished Changing The Game by Jaci Burton and
recently read Collide by Megan Hart. LOVED both of them.
    2) I am not 100% convinced of Adrian of the cover of Never
Enough. I imagined Adrian with more of a lanky, toned body…
like a Ryan Bingham, Adam Levine type. Am I completely off?
    Thanks for the contest!

WOO HOO!!! Would love to win this book 😀

Right now I’m reading just a lot of Contemporary Erotic Romance, they seem to be my go to genre.

It’s not so much erotic but I just discovered an author Katherine Allred, Her books The Sweet Gum Tree and What Price Paradise are AMAZING!!! Very emotional and sooooo good.

I do have a question, I know you are into music and they play a big part of your stories, but I was wondering who are some of your go to artists that seem to fit your stories???

I am hooked on Erotic Romance. I’m currently reading #2 in Jaci Burton’s Play by Play series. This book is what I like to call a panty melter. I highly recommend. GREAT STORY!

Where did your inspiration of Polly Chase come from?

I’ve only been reading romance for the last 3 years, so maybe it was something that was overdone in the past, but I like it when the H/h first meet, don’t like each other, things evolve, they end up with a HEA. But, friends to lovers is great too!

I would love to see more Erotic Paranormal.

Thanks Lauren for the chance to win the ARC.

I am currently hooked on romance. I would love to see more books about married couples or people who have been in relationships for awhile. It seems that many books tie everything in a neat little bow and the story ends when they say I love you or I do. I love stories like Brody and Elise where you get to see their relationship develop over time. You get to watch the characters go through struggles and grow together. Those are the kind of books I would like to see more of. I CAN’T wait for Never Enough!

boys to vampire or weres im not picky lol

Well for once the answer to that first question won’t be ‘Historical romances’, right now I’m reading more contemporary romances and Contemporary Eroticas. The last book which blew me away was Backstage Pass by Olivia Cunning, it’s been a month and I’m still in the post-great-book-haze. This book was daring in all the right ways. Nom!

I never know what to answer to the ‘What theme would you like more often’, I like to be surprised. I’m open to anything as long as it has a happy ending 😉

It seems I’ve been talking/dreaming about Never Enough for years. Sure at first it didn’t have a name but it’s a long awaited book. I’m super excited for Fall to come. *squeeee*

I love Paranormal Romance and Paranormal Erotica. But I also like Romantic Suspense and Erotica. Shapeshifters, vampires, aliens, magic, demons, anything of this sort. Laurell K. Hamilton’s Anita Blake series, Gena Showalter’s Lords of The Underworld, Angela Knight’s Masters, Shelley Laurenston, Lora Leigh’s Breeds, and of course Lauren Dane. I would lik to see more PNR menages with HEA for all 3 characters together.

I’m currently hooked on paranormal & romance. I absolutely love getting carried away in a world that just doesn’t exist. I’m currently reading like every book of yours that I can get. (I read a lot a lot) I’d also recommend Lora Leighs mercenary elite ops books. She also has a fantastic knack for pulling a reader into the world she’s created.

Lauren, I was wondering when you do write Ravens story, what other character types do you think you’ll incorporate into that possible series?

I think I’d like to see more erotic romance written into some contemporary romance. It’s spicy already, but I’d like to see the lines crossed some more. I love to see more realistic themes as well. Like with the Chase series & the Browns. 😉

    1) What genre are you currently hooked on and do you have any good recs for us? HMMM I LOVE paranormal romance.. just got caught up on Lara Adrian Mindight Breed Series… and started Cutter Cay (series???) by Cherry Adair

    2) Feel free to ask a question
hmmm… why do you think there is still a ‘blind spot’ when it comes to Romance books as a genre… I still get crap from people for reading romance because it’s not ‘real’ .. umm DUH! I am reading FICTION! — I think it’s weird that because I love to read Romance novels some look down.. How is a romance novel and different than reading Sci Fi or anything else.. just gets annoying…

    3) What themes/genres would you like to see more of? I am pretty open minded.. Have just started your stuff. Got the kindle story free or .99 on Kindle the bought the other Chase books and now waiting for the next one to come out! Bought them all and read them all last weekend! I love a mix of genres and characters.. vamps, weres, wicca, mercenary, cops, any strong alpha with a good back story. some adventure and a ‘strong’ female lead to have some funny ‘verbal’ sparring with

THANKS for writing such great books! 😀

I am stuck on shapeshifters, werewolves in particular. Recently I have discovered a couple of authors that are new to me. The first is Jana Leigh, she is a new author and sometimes you can tell as there are some editing errors but the stories are good, next is Jennifer Dellerman, she has three really good books out and I can’t wait for the next, and finally JD Tyler, this is a first book under this name and I just started the book this morning and I am totally sucked in. Work is getting in the way of my reading today.

I have been reading a lot of contemporaries. I read paranormals from authors that I already autobuy, but it is contemporaries that I am always looking for more great authors to try out. And they do not have to be series’

Do you plan on doing anymore free standing contempories like Second Chances? That is one of my all-time favorite stories! I love your other contemporaries too, you are amazing with them IMO, but Second Chances was just so emotional and it has stuck with me for a long time! 🙂 Would love to go back to that town or see more from you with that idea.

Since I mentioned above that I am stuck on contemporaries, my obvious pick for more genre/themes would be with those. I love the way you do BDSM and how your characters do not use BDSM to humiliate or betray their partner. I read other works by different authors and sometimes I cannot stomache the way the man forces the h into being submissive by telling HER that she likes it- and then they supposedly have a hea. I can’t believe that. Yours, though, seem natural and much more healthy. The woman is in control of herself until she trusts the man to be dominate in bed and he does not use or control her. Love it!

    1) What genre are you currently hooked on and do you have any good recs for us?
-contemporary, suspense, and menage are my big hang ups right now. There is SOOOOO much out there that when I find a great writer, I hold on to them for dear life!

    2) Feel free to ask a question
(I’m greedy, so I’ll ask two… hee hee!)
-Are we getting more of the Browns after Adrian’s story?
-Are you going to write another series simliar to the Brown series in the future?

    3) What themes/genres would you like to see more of?
    -fantasy romance
    -suspense romance
(honestly, ANY kind of romance – as long as it is well written!)

    Hi

I have been hooked on romance lately however I have a large TBR pile of PNR and Urban Fantasy so I trade off between the genres. I just finished a romance so now I am starting the Kelly Meding series Dreg City (Three Days to Dead) – good so far!

    1) Contemporary with some BDSM as well as Paranormal erotic (i’m greedy ;D) which the Browns and the deLaVega Cats definitely cover. Otherwise I also love the Psy/Changelings by Nalini Singh and Marjorie Liu’s Dirk & Steele books as well as Joey Hill’s Nature of Desire series.

    2) Most of your stories have contemporary dialogue, what do you do differently to write dialogue in the Federation universe books? I noticed a more formal tone. Is it harder?

    3) And you’re doing more fantasy/magic stories which is always a guaranteed pre-buy for my Kindle, so Thanks!

    1. I love romance books, historical, paranormal, contemporary, sci-fi, it does not matter to me as long as the characters are interesting. I especially like when the authors writes about a family or group. I love reading about what has happened with past charterers. The latest author I have added to my must read list is Thea Harrison, love her word building and the I want to know more about everyone in the book!!

    2. Is there going to be more books like federated/phantom corps series? I love this series, it one of the few sci-fi/futuristic romance series I have found!!

    3. I would love to see more well written menage/BDSM stories. Laid Bair, Undercover, and Trinity are some of my favorite stories.

Squeeee! A contest for Adrian!

    1) I am seriously very much an equal opportunity reader — I switch up genres all the time. I am currently reading Christina Henry’s debut Black Wings and highly recommend it.

    2) I know Raven’s getting her own book. By any chance will we see a book for Ella’s brother? I was so intrigued by what little we saw of him in Inside Out.

    3) I definitely want more straightforward contemporary romance — it seems so thin on the ground these days. Goddess bless you, Susan Andersen, and Jill Shalvis — seriously! And if anyone has any recs in this genre, I am all ears!

  46. heather
    August 4th, 2011 at 12:02 pm · Link

    1) M/M!! Oh the angst and tension are to die for!!! Marie Sexton is a don’t-even-look-at-the-blurb autobuy for me. For anyone who is thinking about reading a M/M romance but is somewhat apprehensive, I would steer them toward her without reservation. Who knew I’d love this genre so dang much!!!

    2) I don’t really have a question as much as a comment/ atta-boy… I love, love, love your contemporaries! I really enjoy the lack of “the big misunderstanding” plot twist, honestly most times I just want to throw my book, or kindle, across the room when adults act to dang childish! So thank you for writing adults with normal concerns, behaviors and reasonable miscommunications. Keep up the good work! 😆

    3) I almost hate to admit it… but I am a totally sucker for a romance with a kid, it’s one of my guilty pleasures. Single parents, pregnancies, and (gasp!) even unplanned pregnancies can really crank up the tension if done right.

I go through reading MOODS..lol Right now I am into an Paranormal Romance mood and just got done with Dark Awakening (Dark Dynasties #1) by Kendra Leigh Castle. It was pretty good. Now I am reading Eternal Hunter by Cynthia Eden (I know I am a little late to the party on this one..lol). Next up will be an Erotic book but not sure what yet (since I have already read all of yours:).

As far as themes goes I love how close everyone is in your books (family) and I LOVE that and would love to see much more. And I love your stories that take place in small towns when everyone know everyone else. You just get that warm hometown feel and I love it.
