    1. Currently paranormal as I am rereading the Southern Arcania series by Moira Rogers (Crux, etc) as part of an online readalong. Good stuff!
    2. What is your idea of a perfect vacation?
    3. Any genre where humor is incorporated seamlessly in the storyline (snarkiness and/or satire get bonus points).

1 I always love paranormal romance (PNR) and urban fantasy (UF) genre, even now I read erotica books more than usual, lol. For now, from erotic genre I can recommend Sinners on Tour series by Olivia Cunning. The books is smokin ‘hawt, but you will enjoy the “bromance” between band member. For PNR and UF, its so many, one I recommended is Guild Hunter by Nalini Singh.

    2. How long for you to write a book?

    3. Would love to see more variation at PNR and UF genre. Not just vampire, werewolf , angel or shifter. Its getting old. Its better if mix with mythology

    1. Lately I added some Young Adult books to my reading mix of romances (nearly all sub genres), UF and romantic suspense. I just finished a great book, it’s “A touch of frost” by Jennifer Estep. And I would recommend “Anna and the French kiss” by Stephanie Perkins. Plus many, many more because there are some great and exciting books in this genre.

Plus I discovered some edgy chick-lit / contemporary romances this year by Sarra Manning (Unsticky and You don’t have to say you love me) and Hazel Osmond (Who’s afraid of Mr. Wolfe?)

    2. What’s your favourite character trait in others, yourself and your characters?

    3. I think there is already a good mix of themes/genres I enjoy. When you are not afraid to try out new authors and sub genres there is an amazing amount of great books to read.

Thanks for making this contest international. 😛

    1. I’ve am and have always been obsessed with paranormal romance books, seriously even better than just romance stories alone 😉 Smokin’ hot badass vampires do tend to make one fall in love with the book..

    2. Is it really confusing and hard to write a book sometimes? When I get an idea to write something, I keep changing my mid then end up forgetting the idea I had at first, lol.

Right now I’m reading a bunch of romantic suspense books. I just finished Extreme Exposure by Pamela Clare and it was great.

Okay, the chances to win are not very high, but I will give a try.

    1) What genre are you currently hooked on and do you have any good recs for us?

At the moment I jump from one genre to another, wherever my mood leads me. But I can recommend an upcoming paranormal release. Stephanie Chong’s Where demons fear to tread.

    2) Feel free to ask a question

Lauren, do you have plans for more cat shifter stories?

    3) What themes/genres would you like to see more of?

I love paranormals and would like to see more shifter stories not only werewolves, although I love them

I love a little bit of paranormal in my romance; through in vampires or werewolves or fairies or magical beings and I am clapping and grinning like a 5 year old in a candy shop.

My interest span from YA to black lace titles.

The last book that got me shouting out loud a “no way!!!” immediately followed by “Oh yes yes yes!!!” is Bianca Sommerland’s “Deadly captive”. The blurb picked up my curiosity, but I was very far from figuring out what the story would turn out to be.

I am addicted to the “Brown siblings” series and find myself re-reading them every so often; and again when a new one is coming out. I am very found of them all, but would love to see more than few glimpses about Erin Todd and Ben, so what about another book about these sweethearts.

i am currently in love with menages. the dynamics fascinate me plus they are really hot. i’m really loving the lorelei james rough rider series. i am also loving anything i can download to my kindle. i think i actually spend more on books now because i don’t have to plan a trip to the bookstore when new books come out and then be disappointed sometimes when they don’t have them. i still buy paperbacks of my favorite series (like lauren dane’s brown siblings) that i intend to keep but it’s really freed me up and helped me find new authors i otherwise wouldn’t have.
i really like your menages and would love to see you write more of them. any plans too? they are very well handled.
i would love to see books with more normal size women and hot men! i am reading for the fantasy after all;)

    1) A bit of everything really…but getting burnt out on PNR so have been reading more SFR and Contemp Romance/Romantic comedy. Authors in this category: SFR- Linnea Sinclair, Gail Koger, Monette Micheals- currently reading Prime Obsession…and of course your Federation/Phantom corps series.. for the romance – Jennifer Crusie, Molly Harper, Victoria Dahl

    2) Are there going to be any more stories set in the Cherchez Pack world? And the world that Goddess with a Blade is set in?

    3) Not sure….lots of good books have been coming out…..

    1) I’ve been in a PNR phase that I’m just starting to fade out of. I just got off a Pamela Clare run and LOVED it. Both suspense and historicals. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.

    2) No questions – but my comment – I love the visuals you post to Tumblr. You usually at least have 2-3 a day that make the day a little better.

    3) I really wish I could get more contemporaries where I don’t want to slap the heroine. I don’t think contemporaries should always contain slapstick humor – and it seems like that’s what I’ve been getting recently.

I’m hooked on paranormal romance. I Love, love, love Richelle Mead’s Succubus Series, it’s simply full of awesomesauce! 😀 I can’t recommend enough. If you weren’t a writer, what kind of work would you be doing? and what really *inspires* you to write? I would love to see more futuristic books, like your Phantom Corps Series, which are my absolute fave, fave, fave series of yours and your best work …just sayin’ 🙂 and I can’t recommend this series highly enough!

I am HOOKED on anything erotica. But recently I started reading BDSM. But on the light side of it. The series I rec is Club Shadowlands by Cherise Sinclair. This series IMO lets you into the world and almost gave a step-by-step of the ins and outs. It’s and and the storylines are great!!

    I curently like erotic romance.

I loved Undercover, it was the first book I read and got me hooked. I would love to read more about The Phantom Corps and the Federation.

Will you write a book later explaining were Todd, Ben, Brody, etc. are in 10 years… Did Ben make peace with his dad etc.?

    Thanks
