AFK for a bit

apologies for the silence here at the blog. Our power source on the main work computer here at chez Dane has died a horrible death and so the computer is awaiting repair and a shiny new one. Which means my ability to get online is limited to spotty wireless and my netbook, which I love but does not have all my files and it’s not very conducive to web surfing (which isn’t such a bad thing in general of course and I did manage to get a lot of work done yesterday despite utter kid chaos)

I’ll be back asap, hopefully it’ll be done today or tomorrow. In the mean time, have a great week!

Oh no! That sucks big-time! May your computer problems be solved super-duper quick!

We’ve been learning adventures in netbooks here at our place. Yesterday’s attempt to boot up made Mr. JP say, “You know those Mac vs. PC commercials? They’re so true…”

(and hopefully my email to you wasn’t a victim of the carnage — if it was, let me know, and I’ll re-send!)

Oh dear. I hope you get things fixed soon! I’m feeling lucky here–we had all this stormy weather and it did not knock out our electricity. This is a miracle worth celebrating, which I intend to do by spending the evening reading Skin Game, which arrived today thanks to you. 🙂

Good luck with the computer Lauren; amazing how in just a few years we have come to depend on them?
