Nothing super exciting to post about today. Trying to work, dealing with one of the most ridiculous school situations ever for mini me has made this week into a nightmare. Sigh.

Nearly finished with all the netflix available episodes of Sarah Connor Chronicles, one disc left and I hear the show has been canceled? Gah! I think the show really picked up in the second season and there are a lot of loose ends I hope are at least partially tied up at the end. I feel for the writers of the show – it sucks to have to drop a storyline before you’re ready.

Did watch Jim Gaffney’s King Baby DVD last night. Holy crap he makes me laugh. In fact, I laughed so hard at one point my stomach ached. He’s one of my favorite comedians – if you haven’t seen him yet, do take the time to grab a dvd or two. We love live comedy but don’t get much time to go out to see it. Netflix has a pretty decent selection so that’s nice.

Reading wise – I finished Victoria Dahl’s Start Me Up last night before the DVD action. This book follows Talk Me Down and is also a winner. Whew is this book naughty! Filthy in the best way, but also really sweet. The combo is quite enticing and I really do love her stuff (historicals too). On to the new JD Robb now.

Um, that’s about it really. Halloween candy has about another day or two and then it will mysteriously disappear on a hike. So sad. I’m mean. MEEEEEEEEN. Check in soon for a contest I’m gonna run to win a copy of Ava Gray’s most delightfully fabulous SKIN TIGHT

I feel for YOU on the school issues, and feel for your little ones on the candy. (Feel free to mail any unwanted choclolate this way)

LOL- Showed my A_ _, once over an incident with my son. The vice principal (who must have NOT cared for my son) called me and had me in a tizzy about some ‘Criminal Offense’. After scaring the heebie jeebies out of me…come find out some boys were caught trying to stop up the toliets and said MY son had tried the day before (if they had used cherry bombs wouldn’t have been tried).

My son admitted to it and apologized, and they STILL called me to say ‘Criminal’. Call me and tell me the little shits driving you up the wall, or is in ISS, but don’t over dramatize by insinuating more than what it was.

I went down in person…it wasn’t pretty. I nearly made a principal AND my son (who was in trouble for wasting school time and monies on stopped up toliets)pee their pants!!!

(Son didn’t see me ripping into the principal of course)

I read Start Me Up last week and loved it (didn’t realize it was book 2 and now must get Talk Me Down).

Also, I lent Laid Bare to my sister-in-law. She took it on a plane yesterday and flat-out busted the guy in the seat behind her reading it over her shoulder!

The school stuff sucks but at least you have it cleared up. Mine went on all year b/c there was nothing I could do and the other teacher was just as bad and there is no switching for us. This year he loves his teacher and the damage wasn’t to bad from his teacher last wasn’t to bad.

I hate when they cancel a show w/ loose ends and they always cancel the good shows not the stinky ones.

Have never seen any of Jim Gaffney’s specials but I have heard him on the radio a few times and I couldn’t stop laughing b/c he was so funny.

Can’t wait to get the new Robb it’s always a treat.

The candy is overwhelming in my house to but they seem to forget about in a few days and I’ll make my husband take it to work b/c I can’t eat any of it b/c most of it is chocolate.

OMG they are cancelling Sarah Connor, that show is some of the best TV I have seen in ages. With any luck a different network will pick it up!!! That hardly ever happens though!

They cancelled the sheduled further 2 terminator movies after salvation didn’t do as well as they wanted also.

Looks like the end of the line for the terminator franchise (shame really they only just started to redeem it after the flop that was terminator 3)

Was so irked to hear SCC was canceled. 😡 I mean seriously! We need more actual TV shows on TV, not more reality show crapola.
