I like both tattooed and “bare” characters, but I like it when the tattoos have a meaning. Eg. Marjorie M. Liu’s Maxine Kiss, or Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-Hunters. They have tattoos that are more than decorative or symbolic.

I like tattoos. I like them most when they aren’t generic and have meaning for the person wearing it. As far as heros and heroines I guess they are the same as any other descriptor and can help drive an image of that character whether it be sexy or edgy or a bit scary.

I don’t mind tattoos on the hero or heroine and sometimes they are integral to the story – such as in the Jacqueline Carey books or Ash in Sherrilyn Kenyon’s books where the tatoo is a demon in a different form.

Tatoos dont bother me. I just think of them as another characteristic like hair and eye color.

I don’t like tattoos all over, but I absolutely adore tasteful tattoos, especially like when they are tied into the story. My cousin has a large one all over her forearm and I hate it. However, my sister has a little one on her lower back that I think is really cute. So, I guess it depends on the tattoo, where it is, and why they have it.

Tattoos are pretty hot. I love the tattoos in the Gena Showalter Lords of the Underworld series. YUM!

I don’t have any tatoos but I really like it when the characters have them. Especially when they connect with the story. :)
