Today’s book is Anya Bast’s The Chosen Sin!

(Oh man do I LOVE this cover!)

A sensuous and lust-filled otherworld—from a “sinfully hot”( Ilona Andrews, author of Magic Bites) bestselling author.

The Chosen are vampires fighting for their very existence. It is Daria Morris’s destiny to become one of them…

Daria is a special forces agent with one obsession: to wreak vengeance on the vampire who nearly destroyed her. But to succeed, she must become something she detests: a vampire. Her fate rests upon Alejandro Martinez, a sexy vampire with whom she once shared an unforgettable night of scorching passion.

Now, while Daria struggles against her newfound bloodlust, the two must slip into the shadows to bring a monster to justice—even as their desire threatens to consume them…

(This one will ship directly from Amazon)

YOUR QUESTION: It’s cold and rainy outside but inside it’s just you and the sweetie of your choice – Who is he? What movie will you watch? What drinks and snacks will you consume? I’ll choose a winner tomorrow at noon pacific!

I have to be square and chose my DH. It’s been so long since we’ve had a night or day ALONE that I’d love to just have a cold rainy day where he can’t work or go hunting, and grandparents have the kids and we can just enjoy each other. As for the movie, honestly it wouldn’t matter, we could watch a blank screen for all I’d care. It’s just the sitting next to each other, touching, talking, and in general enjoying each other that I’d want. As for drinks and snacks…….chocolate and chocolate dipped strawberries would be great, and we could maybe open one of the wines we have(people keep giving us wine even though we never drink it) or even milk. As I said it would be the fact of us being ALONE for a time to enjoy our love that would be most important. We almost had it last night but then the kids cried and cried and wanted mom and dad so we had to go get them.(they are 7 and 4) and kinda hard to leave crying.

    hugs! Great contest!!! And questions.

We’d watch something we both liked, like a Jackie Chan film or similar, and i’d eat popcorn and cheesy Doritos and drink lemonade or cola. He doesn’t like to eat while watching films but i’d make sure the popcorn was sweet so he could have some 😀

Hm… OK, if it’s a cold and rainy day, I’m guessing there’s no way we’d be able to get a sitter, so it’ll be me and my sweetie and our little sweeties snuggled up on the sofa and watching the latest Clone Wars episode and munching on tortilla chips and bean dip 🙂

OOOoo! I like this one. Well since I get Hubby all the time anyway & this is my fantasy 😉 I would have to say Josh Brolin and we would start the evening by watching Goonies-’cause that’s when I first fell for him, Then we would go into all 3 seasons of Young Riders -Josh could hang his gunbelt from my bedpost anytime-Pretty simple for the drinks & snacks, a nice cold beer and some hot nacho dip & chips. Sigh!!

    Who is he?
My hubby. I wouldn’t have to act sophisticated or anything else. I could wear my rattiest clothes and just relax.

    What movie will you watch?
It’s not a movie, but how about a marathon of Jeff Dunham? He’s hilarious. We’re currently watching his Christmas Special on Comedy Central and it’s awesome. Even our 20 month old son is loving it (although we would love for him to go to bed already)

What drinks and snacks will you consume?
Nutty Caramel Brownies, smothered in Ice Cream. mmm…..they were good.

This sounds like the past two days here. I think I will kick hubby to the curb just for the day and bring in George Clooney. It won’t matter what movie will be playing because we won’t be doing any watching or snacking. I would have other things in mind.

Hmm… to go with someone not yet chosen… Raoul Bova… or Christian Bale.
Movie? 😛 Quantum of Solace – I just wanna see it. But I guess it can’t be bootleg… erm… movie to see… Casablanca :X I’ve actually never seen it.
Drinks? Macerated cranberries w/ mint and orange in vodka and champagne 😀
Snacks… fancy pizza. Recent favorite = thin crust, fresh mozzarella cheese, tomatoes, crab, artichoke, paper thin slices of mushroom, and pine nuts. Delicious.

I’d go with Captain Wentworth from Jane Austen’s Persuasion. We’d most likely be watching a comedy, something by Monty Python, and enjoying mini-cheesecakes.

Okay, fictional hero? This time I’ll go with Karl from Sasha White’s novel WICKED; we’d watch romantic flicks like LOVE ACTUALLY, SENSE AND SENSIBILITY, MANSFIELD PARK, interspersed with SECRETARY and EXOTICA. We’d be feeding each other fresh sashimi/sushi, assorted imported cheeses, and a selection of fine dark chocolate. 🙂

I have this book, THE CHOSEN ONE coming to me so don’t put me in the contest for this one, but would love to answer anyways!

Ok, this means that this is before Hubby is in the picture, LOL. I’ve been getting to know actors eventhough I haven’t seen much movies but I do love Pics
So for me it would be Mr. Richard Gere
In the Library with a candle stick. Oops that s the game clue. 😆
It will still be Richard Gere and we’ll be watching AN OFFICIER AND A GENTLEMAN (I think he’d like to see himself in that movie too). I really must heat the chocolate and have the strawberries to dip in them. They’d be delicious too 😈

I’d have to say my DH as well. Between health problems that have kept me in the hospital all too often the last year and his job which has him working even on weekends, I can’t remember the last time we sat together on the couch, my head in his lap while we watched something besides Scooby Doo on the TV (no we don’t have Children but he watches Scooby doo DVDs from the time he comes home til he goes to bed unless football or nascar is on).

As far as snacks go, that really wouldn’t matter. He’ll eat anything and I can’t snack. Just being together, spending those two hours or so just being with each other is enough.

I’m going with Dh as well, we also get very little “alone” time so a rainy evening just he and I would be nice!!

Not sure what movie we’d watch……I would want to watch something like Under the Tuscan Sun and he would want to watch some shoot em up adventure type movie!

    Snacks……..pizza and ice cream!!

  40. Lori T

I would have to choose my hubby…we don’t really get too much alone time with three kids still at home and it would be nice to just have some “us” time. We would have to find a happy medium on what movie to watch, but most likely it would end up being something with Al Pacino in it…as this is the hubby’s favorite actor. We would have both sweet and salty….like possibly popcorn and M&Ms. I know not very romantic, but it would be just the right evening for us.

I know that I have missed the drawing, but I thought I would add my thoughs.
