Today’s book is actually TWO books – Jaci Burton’s Riding Wild and Surviving Demon Island!

Riding Wild is book #1 in Burton’s Wild Riders series
He’s a Harley-riding ex-thief…she’s a gun-toting ex-socialite. Together they’ll take the ride of a lifetime in this erotic romance from “an undoubted master.”*
Mac Canfield was the last man Lily West expected to see again, never mind aim her gun at. But there he was, the bad boy who’d broken her heart years ago-still a thief, hijacking a priceless artifact-and it was all she could do to push aside the memories of how it felt to have his perfectly chiseled body next to hers.
Mac was no less shocked to see the beautiful girl next-door again, threatening to shoot him. Little did she know she was blowing his cover. He had to get her out of harm’s way without succumbing to his desire to take her on a hot trip down memory lane.
But Lily has no intention of going anywhere with Mac, which means he’ll have to resort to kidnapping. Unless she agrees to let him take her for the kind of ride destined to drive them both unbelievably wild.

Surviving Demon Island is Book One in Burton’s Demon Hunters series
Saving Demon Island
She’s all curves and combat boots.
He’s six feet of lean, dangerous male.
Join them in a game of survival.
That’s as real – and hot – as it gets.
What’s America’s top female action star doing on a tropical island shrouded in secrecy? To Gina Bliss, competing in a survival-type reality show is a nice change from fending off on-screen villains. Until she meets real-life action hero Derek Marks. A survival specialist in a tight black T and sexy stubble, he’s arousing every bad-boy fantasy she’s ever had…and testing her survival skills to the max.
Martial arts, jungle warfare – Derek’s done it all. But his latest mission is more dangerous than a stick of dynamite. Try telling that to the sexy, adrenaline-pumped actress who’s got his libido racing off the charts. As the heat rises between them and real-life violence erupts, suddenly Derek and Gina are on the run…and when they uncover a secret so explosive it could blow the lid of their so-called reality show, these two unlikely heroes are about to discover what surviving’s really about….

YAY!! DAY 1 AND I’M THE FIRST TO COMMENT :) Congrats on your almost release!!
by crystal adkins November 15th, 2008 at 6:10 amMy fav. bad boy is Zadist in JR Ward’s BDB he’s all rough and edgy but then he meets his mate and softens up a bit :) love it!
My favorite bad boy right now is Shock from Shayla Black’s Tempt Me With Darkness. I know he doesn’t seem like a good guy but oh I have such high hopes for him and I can’t wait.
by Brandy W November 15th, 2008 at 7:01 amLord knows there are so many to pick from bot if I have to pick one I would pick Roarke. B/c even though he has gone legimate now underneath it all he’s still a bad boy and always will be.
by Christine November 15th, 2008 at 7:15 amMy current favorite bad boy of fiction?
Japhrimel – the Greater Flight demon from Lilith Saintcrow’s Dante Valentine series. :D He’s hot, he’s a demon, and he can stop a gang of street punks with a look. What’s not to love?

by Dana November 15th, 2008 at 7:37 amDana
The first one that comes to mind is Roarke from the in death series (J. D. Robb). More so in the earlier books.
by Natasha A. November 15th, 2008 at 7:41 amWell, of course Roarke, but there’s also Ben Lewis from Linda Howard’s Heart of Fire and… shoot, I know there are more, but I think I need more coffee now.
by azteclady November 15th, 2008 at 7:56 amHummm, my favorite bad guy who’s a good guy….. I’d have to say right not it’s Zarek from Sherrilyn Kenyon’s Dark-hunters. I haven’t read Stryker’s book yet so I’m not sure if I’ll love him.
There are others but I’m blanking on his name. Linda Howard wrote a gun runner who was doing that to help his daughter who had a health issue. He was a bad guy but for a good reason. I can not think of his name for the life of me. It was a great book and he wasn’t the hero but a secondary character, maybe someone else can remember his name.
hugs,

by Quilt Lady November 15th, 2008 at 6:49 pmWow, bad boys who are secretly good guys are the best! I was trying to pin point which one I liked the most when I read through others choices and saying “Oooh yeah, that one, ooh most definitely that one.”
It’s just soooo hard to choose just one. Japhrimel from Lillith Saintcrow’s Dante Valentine… I fell for him instantly.
James Malory of Johanna Lindsey, he’s such an ornery man. Gotta love him. He makes the series fun.
Zarek and Stryker for sure.
And I have to agree with Klypepas’s St. Vincent. His book is my all time favorite of that series
by Raonaid Luckwell November 15th, 2008 at 7:16 pmJaph from Lilith SaintCrow’s Dante Valentine series.
by Diane M. November 15th, 2008 at 7:24 pmMercury from mercury’s war…gotta love a sexy shifter, that is also ex miltary has such a sweet inner soul…ahh make me drool

They’re both such bad ass warriors but they’re secretly softies
by AJ November 16th, 2008 at 5:47 amI would have to say Eric Northman (6′4″ blond Viking sex god) from Charlaine Harris, THE SOOKIE STACKHOUSE aka SOUTHERN VAMPIRE SERIES.
