I’ve not read Anne Stuart but I love love love Linda Howard. I don’t have her latest book, Death Angel, yet but like you I just adore her books. All the King’s Men (or is it queen?–the Hydrocodone is messing with my head) is my favorite of her titles thus far. I can’t wait to see what part II of your TT is…

You know, i tried do a contest via video on my blog today. no one even looked at it lol!

I like the assassin in Susan Grant’s “Otherworldly men” series. I believe the assassin’s book is “How to Lose an Extraterrestrial in 10 Days” but he appears in the other books in the series too. I totally loved how she managed to redeem his character by the end of it.

I totally agree about the allure of spy/assassin storylines. I have Anne’s books on my keeper shelf, along with Linda Howards. Plus Gennita Low’s, Into Danger, has a lone female spy storyline that I really loved to. Equal opportunity, ya know?

I absolutely loved Moonrise by Anne. That’s a book I read before she was a known name to me and the story stuck in my head and made me a fan for life. I’m also a fan of Linda Howard but that’s a given.

I haven’t gotten all those recent Anne Stuart books but heard so much wonderful about them. I shall work on that! I keep thinking of her books and Linda Howards when I think of Assassins. There’s too others I thought of! Have you read Shannon McKenna? If I understand Assassians right, they go beyond the law to get the bad guys. She does this so good with the McClouds. Start with BEHIND CLOSED DOORS with that series but they stand alone but you’ll want to know the other McCloud’s stories. Too I know it seems that many are series but they are and if I can think of stand alone ones I can commend them. Too, Debbie Wallace, writing at D. A. Wallace, her ebook was a mercenary, and awesome called AGAINST THE ODDS. It crackled and sizzled and a beautiful romance too! Also, the heroes are x-SEALs, but Cherry Adair’s T-FLAC books, starting with HIDE AND SEEK I believe! If I think of more, I’ll be back!
