Booktalking – Saskia Walker's Reckless

Yes, I said I’d do this on Friday but I didn’t write a single word on Friday! Instead, I hung out with my family all day, we went for ice cream and did fireworks and just enjoyed each other. I even read. And yesterday, I wrote all day. I got 5 1/2K words written on Relentless and if all goes according to schedule, I’ll be done by Wednesday.

On to the booktalking!

First up is Saskia Walker’s Reckless!

Saskia Walker has written much more than the love triangle I’ve seen this be referred to as. It’s not so much that as it is quite an atmospheric, sexy story with one woman caught in the middle of a family fight over the paintings Katrina is taken to Spain to appraise.

We first meet Sergio, darkly sensual and certainly attracted to Katrina. But then soon Nico walks into the book and takes up the pages. He’s the younger brother and he’s got to prove something, got to get Katrina on his side.

I don’t want to give spoilers but I will say I liked the subterfuge/mystery element as Katrina is trying to figure out which brother to believe. There’s a lot of great chemistry between Katrina and Nico as well as hot sexin.

Reckless is certainly a fabulous way to spend some time this summer!
