It’s really lovely. Congrats!
by Ann Aguirre March 6th, 2008 at 1:53 pmI want her body. And her clothes.
I love the tagline on the cover, Lauren.
Beautiful!
by Jaci Burton March 6th, 2008 at 2:16 pmthank you Ann!
Jaci - Sera, the heroine is very tall and lithe and has very small breasts, I was pleased to see they’d gotten her body right! And yeah, I’m still sort of giddy about it. Thanks! (I dont’ know where they’re going to put the blurbs though, hm)
by laurendane March 6th, 2008 at 2:20 pmOooh it’s beautiful Lauren. I love it! Congrats!
by Karen Erickson March 6th, 2008 at 3:37 pmOMG! It’s fantastic. This is the type of cover you select even when you have never heard of the book or the author. (I don’t think I was born that skinny. I am jealous.)
by Janet H March 6th, 2008 at 3:47 pmOMG, GORGEOUS! So lovely. Pretty, sophisticated, sexy. I love it! Congrats on such a fab cover!
by Marissa March 6th, 2008 at 4:16 pmFantastic! And how great that they were able to match your description of Sera. Congratulations! It’s absolutely eye-catching.
by Kathleen Dante March 6th, 2008 at 8:03 pmLauren, that cover is so gorgeous. It’s classy and elegant.
by Charlene March 6th, 2008 at 8:36 pmWow - beautiful.
by Lori March 6th, 2008 at 10:04 pmI love the cover - but I have to share my first thought when I saw it - “that is one skinny ass chick.”
by limecello March 6th, 2008 at 10:41 pmAmazing cover.
by Christine March 7th, 2008 at 8:01 amWow!
by Greta Wheeler March 7th, 2008 at 11:33 amKaren - thank you!
Janet - Oh man I hope so, LOL! Thanks.
Marissa, thank you, I think so too!
Kathleen - thank you!!
Charli - I know, it’s so elegant. I love it.
Lori - thanks - I’m so in love.
Limecello - LOL, thanks. And yes, she is thin but so is my heroine. I also think the model is arching her back and sucking her belly in, which makes her look even thinner.
Christine - Thank you!
Greta - I know! LOL, thanks.
by Lauren Dane March 7th, 2008 at 11:39 amThat is gorgeous!!!
by Cynthia Eden March 7th, 2008 at 2:13 pmBeautiful cover and happy for you that they got your heroine right, though, personally, I don’t care for “skinny-assed heroines” with small breasts. Nowhere as bad as skinny-assed heroes with small p******, of course, but you don’t those in this book, do you?
by Elaine March 7th, 2008 at 4:51 pmThank you Cindy!
Elaine - thank you, I’m thrilled with this cover. As for the body type of my heroine - there are all kinds of women in the world, thin, heavy and in between. I think I’d be doing women a disservice to only portray one type of woman over and over. So yes, Sera is a tall, lithe woman, a warrior with small breasts. Just like the millions of women who are thin with small breasts - all types of women deserve a love story.
by Lauren Dane March 7th, 2008 at 5:03 pmWow an awesome cover
by Taige Crenshaw March 7th, 2008 at 8:49 pmshiny sparklies! woot!
It’s terrific. So glad you’re happy with it.
by Maya March 8th, 2008 at 12:05 pmIt’s fantastic Lauren.
Suits the book. As I’m hip deep in the middle of it, and it’s SO FREAKIN’ SENSUAL.
by Vivi Anna March 8th, 2008 at 2:47 pmLovely, lovely cover. Know the story will definitely live up to the cover!
by Laura K March 8th, 2008 at 4:12 pmvery sexy lauren
by kim March 8th, 2008 at 5:47 pmTaige - thanks! How are you feelin, hon?
Maya - I know, wheee! Thank you.
Vivi - oh man you know how nervous I am that you like it, I’m so thrilled!
Laura - thanks and hey, I hope YOU feel better soon.
Kim - thank you!
by laurendane March 8th, 2008 at 5:58 pmIt’s beautiful!
by Joy March 11th, 2008 at 8:21 amThe gravity can be partly blamed for making the model look thinner. Lying down pictures always look a little strange when turned 90 degrees.
But it’s still a lovely cover. Congrats!
by Paula March 12th, 2008 at 7:36 amOhhh, it beautiful!
